Event Reputation Store inaccessible for new alts?

Long story short, i created a science alt a few weeks ago and played with it on time of time. Today it reached the glorious lvl 40 and here i was planning to fly the Solanae Science Destroyer (the free one that was earned from the episodes and now should be accessible on all chars if you have claimed it). The thing is the whole reputation store is unavailable and i can't use any of my rep ships on new alts. Is it unlockable at later level or i am doomed not to be able to use the ships?

    The event store can be unlocked in either a summer or winter event.

    Taking part in at least one of them is then a necessity in order to get any of the previously unlocked ships on a new char. Devs previously said they were considering unlocking the store (or specifically only the 'account unlocked ships' tab) for all and any chars, but so far, nothing materialized.

    Aw that stinks. im in the same boat too.was hoping to use my kobali ship on my new toon. guess i will suffer with the free ship till i can get 3 or 4 more fleet moduals for something better. im bad at saving so the winter event will probly come around befor i get them haha

    At this point all you can do is wait for December when the Winter event should start again.

    Well unpleasant, but not game breaking. Never tried to play lvl 50 + stuff in free ship anyway. It's not like i don't have any C-Store ships, but i lack endgame sci vessel. Well thanks for the reply.
