A while ago I tried playing STO with a touchscreen under Win7. It didn't work, so I thought it might have been the really crappy drivers I had.
Today I installed it on my Windows 10 Tablet but it still doesn't work.
More specifically: The UI buttons light up when touched, but the click doesn't get through, i.e. windows not opening, abilities not firing.
It's a real shame, as the UI looks so touch-friendly and touchscreens are getting more and more common. It wouldn't be very practical in combat, but DOffing/Reputations/Admirality/Crafting/all other clicky stuff would be so much more awesome, and even less tedious than with the mouse.
Is there any chance to get this to work? I'm also interested in why it doesn't work currently (ELI5 if possible, or maybe ELI10).
