47th Fleet 'Armstong': Deep Space Exploration and Research

I've been roleplaying in Star Trek for a couple of years now, and I have been involved in the 26th Fleet, the Zenas Expeditionary Force, and the Storytellers. All great fleets in their own right.
But a few of us came up with an idea. An idea of 'Why stick to what is known? Why not make something totally new?'
And lo, the 47th was born.
The 47th Fleet was founded to investigate strange power anomalies in deep space, far beyond the Defera sector and weeks away from Deep Space 9 at traditional warp. Truly, the Final Frontier
I'm sure you have all seen the Iconian War and where it is going. Cryptic have done a decent job telling a story, but as an RP'er, I know how hard it can be to work that into an RP. So the 47th has worked tirelessly to come up with a plot story that incorporates the war, and that desire to Investigate Strange New Worlds, to Seek Out New Life and New Civilizations, to Boldly Go Where No-one has gone before.
