/invite not working for offline players?

Hey all, been trying to invite my latest alt to my fleet but it keeps coming up with a "player not found" error. I've checked spelling and tried inviting from another alt but its not working. Any ideas?

/invite is for team invites and only works with players currently online. Fleet invites are done with /Guild_Invite.

Inviting your own alts should work, at least from the fleet roster window. But if your fleetmates can't invite the character either, check the character's privacy settings and make sure fleet invites are allowed.

Are you using the fleet roster, to send the invites with?

make sure you are using character name, not your account name. if it's not working like it should be, then it's common bug. to fix that you would need to try relogging, and try again. if it persists, you will need to ask someone in your fleet to invite your characters.

I'm using the specific character name plus the handle. I didn't know if it was because the new char is a delta recruit? I did ask a fleet mate to invite the new character when I initially made her but he couldn't invite her either.

I stopped using her shortly after and didn't really think much of it. But now I'm focused on leveling her I kind of need her in the fleet.

I'm at a loss what to do.

Oh I thought I had used /invite in the past. I think I'm wrong though.

I will try /guild_invite and double check privacy settings as well. Might explain why my fleetie couldn't do it either. Cheers guys.
