unique boff in a doff pack

was just looking at some old doff packs, and it occured to me how sweet it would be if the *special* duty officer packs had a chance at popping unique bridge officers, with special skills--xindi for example would have a chance at having the xindi skills, (including kemocite laced weaponry, and structural integrity collapse, etc,) krenim would have a chance at having the ico arc skills, others might have pilot, command or intel skills....

and/or appropriate ground skills like the vaaudwar kit mods...

I think Cryptic are perfectly good at coming up with ideas to fleece players without us giving them more.

And I'm a lifetime subscriber since the open beta, and bought quite a few things on the c-store/zen store too, so as someone who has heavily supported the developers financially I believe I am qualified to point out when we're being fleeced, and the random I win content of lockboxes and other random packs has always been particularly detestable in my view.
By all means sell boffs if they're a business and need the money, just don't make it yet more random money sink content.

You and I have just as much say in this as a day 1 newbie who has never put a penny into the game. I.e. None.

I was responding to someone teying to pull the "this is a business" card.

I like it so long as they are not Bind on Pickup.

When they cycle through rereleasing old Boff packs,

Gamma Quadrant Doffs, chance for JEM Hadar, or Vorta Boff.
Delta quadrant, Kobali and other species,
    Romulan: Romulan, Reman, and Suliban
Xindi: Self explainitary, would be cool to have an Aquatic Boff, but unable to take on away missions, but can be slotted in the bridge spot on a Narcine.
Thanks for the Advanced Light Cruiser, Allied Escort Bundles, Jem-Hadar Light Battlecruiser, and Mek'leth

thinking vorta for the jh packs (can already get a jh from the 4028 mission in the cardassian arc), suliban we havn't seen before,--give em ferengi trade traits and genetic resequenced stuff, and for the xindi--well, while i like the insect dude from the lobi store, i'd love a reptillian to fill out my all lizard away team and an arborial just becuase apes are cool.

and let's get some cardassians, who doesn't love those cuddly little spoonheads?

Well, the Jem'Hadar we do get is stuck as a tactical Boff. You can't currently get a science or Engineer Jem'Hadar.

That was what I was thinking. If there were species of boffs which we could get in missions or featured episodes, have this as a means to get them in other careers/genders, like Kobali.

i have a couple faux jh on one of my alts--once you unlock the jh costume (lobi store) you can create sci and eng 'alien' jh, but really, they don't look quite right. so i guess i'd say sure, a jh eng, and maybe sci too would be nice....

Instead of apologising for your crass behaviour, you choose to double down on your misunderstanding of my original post and your irrelevant remarks.
    Such is the internet.
