New Battery Device Time Changes...

SInce You're fiddling with all the Battery Devices in the game, could You PLEASE Increase the number of items that can stacked from 20 to something more managable in our inventories?
Like say 99 even?

Also, do these new time reduction changes affect the Red Matter Capaciter Device?

What about the Quartermaster doff that reduces the cool down on batteries?

I asked this question in the release notes thread.

    • Cooldowns on all standard Space Batteries have been reduced from 120 seconds to 60 seconds.
    • Shared Cooldowns on all standard Space batteries have been reduced from 60 seconds to 30 seconds.
    • Shared Cooldowns on all standard ground devices have been reduced from 30 seconds to 15 seconds.
    • Cooldowns on all standard ground devices is unchanged, and remains at 15 seconds.

Did you test this with doffs that reduce the cooldown on consumables? There is a quartermaster that reduces the cooldown on batteries and a biochemist that reduces the cooldown on ground consumables. Also, I'm pretty sure you've got the cooldown and shared cooldown on ground devices mixed up. The patch notes should read
    • Cooldowns on all standard ground devices have been reduced from 30 seconds to 15 seconds.
    • Shared Cooldown on all standard ground devices is unchanged, and remains at 15 seconds.

So what does that biochemist do now?

I'm not too sure about battery quartermasters, but I can't see how stim biochemists would continue to function if the cooldown and shared cooldown on ground consumables are now the same.

It seems that I was wrong.

If anyone is curious about Ground device recharges and DOFF interaction:

    HOLODECK
    - no DOFF: 30s cooldown, 15s shared
    - purple DOFF: 20s cooldown, 10s shared

    TRIBBLE
    - no DOFF: 15s cooldown / 15s shared
    - purple DOFF: 10s cooldown / 10s shared

Glad a Dev came in here to clarify a seemingly simple question. Thanks!

Or better yet, now that we can make them (and buy them as has always been an option) remove consumable drops (food, space/ground batteries, commodities, etc) entirely from mobs? Tired of having to either fumigate the inventory after X number of kills or skip picking up items altogether.

Edit: I worry about some of the new batteries being made available. Particularly the energy amplifier. Do we really need more ways to multiplicatively increase our already out-of-control damage?
