So they took away peoples skill points when a 'bug' in patrols gave too much...

in Star Trek Online General Discussion
Do you think they will give us MORE skill points when they finally fix armada bug? Since we have been missing out on a massive amount of skill points due to their bug?

Seems fair doesn't it? A bug gives too much, they take it away.
A bug gives too little.....give more.....

    Well, if you recall, the actually rolled all that back because their punishment script didn't work as well as they thought it would.

    Cryptic is much better at 'Take' then they are at 'Give.'

    Chances are pretty good. The system just came out, so the team is probably still expecting tweaks and bug fixes to come up and reserved time for them.

    Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.

    I'm going to agree with you. But if they give us anything back, it'll be as little as possible. But to be honest, all of these issue's should have been straightened out before it hit Holodeck. But in true cryptic fashion it wasn't and most likely never will be. So all we can do is sit back and hope they don't shaft us over.

    Oh, it's not broken? We can soon fix that!

    Among other things, KDF and KDF-allied fleets cannot see their Betas' fleet levels, and their armada level is identical to that of the Alpha fleet, regardless of the fact that it should be increased by the levels of their Beta fleets.

    likely they will give us an extended XP bonus weekend if we're polite about it.

    Still no word on the bonus xp. Not a single person in an alpha fleet is getting a bonus but nothing is being done.

    Maybe... I don't know... Post a Bug Report in the Bug forums, instead of just whining about it up here?

    Don't hold your breath. The "reward" will be one of the following:

    Reduced XP for killing enemies
    A further DPS nerf
    Further enemy HP increases

    Delta Rising is the best expansion ever and the players love it!

    I'm still out at least a dozen spec points, and I never touched the broken patrols.

    This appears to have been fixed now.

    That was about October of last year when Delta rising launched and yes "SOME" were given back. However, not enough as it used to be. The level of grinding specs was nerfed to oblivion at that time. Ever since then...lots of players got fed up and left. Some of us stayed behind and looks like there are some new players. Not sure if same levels as pre-October but at least PWE is doing lots to get new players online. Can't believe there is anew season up already. I wish them well and hope they can get more players active on this MMO.     ​​

    Lots of new things coming out. Any chance of fixing your other new baby? The armada system?
