Since the percentage stops showing real hull HP when temp hull is granted and shows temp hull HP instead, and at 100% the pink overlay completely overlaps the silhouette of the ship, its impossible to tell how much real hull you have if having more % of temp hull than real hull %.
The solution to this would be as simple as making the pink temp HP overlay either semi transparent, or striped vertically with full transparency, in both cases showing how much of the silhouette is filled with green. Or just making it so that the % shown on the silhouette still shows real hull HP %, and the only indication of amount of temp HP is how much of the silhouette is filled with pink. Same applies for ground temp HP.

It would be nice if they went with a simple UI change that splits normal hull and temporary hitpoints. Say normal hull on the left, temporary hitpoints on the right.
