MACO Ground Set Question

I had crafted the Mk X version of the MACO ground gear using the old Omega rep system and when the system was revamped, I re-crafted the MACO armor, but upgraded the shield and rifle using the upgrade system. I finally got around to finishing upgrading the shield, however only the basic visuals are working and I can't activate the armor or the rest of the ground visuals for the set. Will I have to recraft the shield and rifle? Also I still have the original Mk X ground armor in my inventory. Is this causing a conflict or doesn't it matter that it's there?

A whole lot has changed since then. Armor visuals are no longer bound to the items but are in the tailor, you can't activate them anymore you have to make a costume with it.
To get more than the basic visuals in the tailor you need to get the adapted maco set from the rep to unlock the striker parts, unforunately the operational maco costume is lost for those who don't have it bacause the unlock accolade is broken and never got fixed.

Thanks for the info, seriousdave. I have the Omega ground gear as well and i know that costume's visuals work. Will have to look into the Adapted MACO set next time i'm in game.
