Chroniton Dual Beam Array and Iconians

Ok so here's the thing: Iconians are apparently vulnerable to weapons that mess with time, right? Due to the nature of their minds/organs getting scrambled if they attempt time travel. So shouldn't chroniton weapons do extra damage to Iconians? They don't...but shouldn't they?

I remember when this Iconian war started, I was one of the few people flying around in the Temporal Wells class ship, complete with the Chroniton Beams... hoping they would make a difference... but nope... it only works in cut scene logic

That's only because the Chroniton DBB is just a fancy AP DBB with new effects slapped on.

Seriously, we need a new Chroniton set or something. Fancy beam weaponry go!

They need to adjust all Chronitron weapons to deal +damage to Iconians/Heralds. It would be a relatively simple fix, and would also be in canon with the game's own lore. Why haven't we done this?! There is NO reason not to do it, other than to FORCE people to use Iconian rep gear.

I believe the Chronitron rifle from Time in a Bottle has a hidden effect against them. Should be reasonably simple to add that to all Chronitron weapons.

Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though.
JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

I thought it was just the the chronitons in their brains meant their memories were tied to their current place in the timeline; i.e. if they went back in time, they'd forget everything that happened between the time to which they traveled and the time from which they traveled. In that sense, chroniton weapons would be no deadlier to them than, say, positron- or neutron-based weapons on humans; it would work, because radiation and antimatter mess up organic matter something fierce, but it wouldn't be uniquely effective. Also, aren't Heralds servitors, i.e. not actually Iconians? I thought the only combat against an actual Iconian occurs in the newest FE.

We know they affect iconians, but do they affect the Harold's as well? Iconians are semi energy beyond and Harold's are more physical. Maybe that's why our doesn't work on Harold ships?

Harolds? What we really need to have weapons against are the Herberts!

The Wells and Mobius should SO have some sort of improved effect on the Iconians. They're temporal ships!

They are supposed to affect Herald ships as well. Because the Heralds are creations of the Iconians, they are (supposedly) vulnerable to the same weakness as their Iconian Masters.
