Cardassian uniforms

So I have made a Cardassian captain (using the alien race) last week and I am flying the Galor at the moment.
I am loving the hell out of it (both the toon and the Galor), but there is just one thing that bugs me: there are no Cardassian uniforms as far as I can find. ಠ╭╮ಠ
Kerim and his (also Cardassian) bridge officers are wearing the Dyson uniforms at the moment, but it doesn't really fit them.

So my question/feedback is: will there be Cardassian uniforms in the future? I do not really mind if they are C-store, lockbox or lobi or if there is going to be some other way to get them (rep system, fleet holding?). I would just really like to have them on Kerim and the gang.

This is something I was disappointed with too, I'd love to see a cadassian uniform. Until then I've found the closest I can find is to make my cardassian a romulan/kdf alien and use a mixture of romulan/kdf clothing.

Sooner or later they are going to add gamma quadrant into the game, and when they do, I'm willing to bet it's going to include the Cardassians in one way or the other... Heck, maybe they'll even add Cardassians as a playable faction with unlockable Jem-Hadar and Vorta.

For a "Gamma Quadrant Expansion" why exactly would the Cardassians be a part of it? The Cardassians rebelled against the Dominion at the end of the Dominion War. There is no Cardassian territory in the Gamma Quadrant. Not like the Dominion would have allowed it, especially with the Cardassians turning against them. The True Way is in the Alpha Quadrant and they are very much enemies of Cardassia and the Alliance.

You answered your own question: Because in the game we have "The True Way" which has allied itself with the Dominon in an attempt to take over the Cardassian government.

DS9 was my favorite Trek series and I personally love the Cardassians and want to see more of them in STO. I feel like the Cardassian story in STO got shorted when the devs decided to make developing the Romulans and the Delta quadrant a priority.

I want to be able to use the wormhole next to DS9 to visit the Gamma quadrant, I want to see more stories with The True Way and the Dominion.

Well, no particular reason... It would just seem neater than separating it into "Legacy of Cardassia" and "Gamma Rising" ;-)

I would very much welcome the Cardassians as a playable faction. Hopefully in such a way that you can be a proper Cardassian, unlike they did with the Romulans (no matter how fun it is to play a Romulan, what was I disappointed when I found out I couldn't join the Tal Shiar and torture people ). Best would be if you had to choose a path: join the True Way or fight them or something like that. I wouldn't be surprised if there is going to be some new Alpha-Quadrant alliance with Cardassians, Vorcha and freed Jem'Hadar (freed as in they don't need Ketracel White anymore) and maybe even former member of the Maquis or their descendants (assuming anyone survived the Dominion's onslaught).

Be patient for the inevitable Cardassian faction brethren, soon we will show this so called 'alliance' how the Cardassians do it!

The odds of a non Cardassian wearing an iconic Cardassian uniform are zero. Even if Cryptic wanted to, CBS would never allow it.
