Horrible lag since patch, bugged command powers again?

Well overall lag is insanely high on it's own already but I tried a few advanced space STFs. The lag is noticeable when playing without command powers already but once I popped a single command power in space the lag just SMASHED us with a vengeance. It wasn't this bad before 10.5, does this mean the fixes for the command powers have been reverted?

    i've just quit the game for a anger management break after running a few normal borg stfs and got pissed off with Rubberbanding,Lagging and my biggest pet hate selecting a power from the tray and seeing it go into refresh/cd mode.

    The lag is exactly the same as it was yesterday, the patch day and before the patch. Nothing changed. At least for most users. In fact, things got worst, actually. Other "lucky" players dont experience lag, because they probably live near the host, or because they never play advanced stfs or tholian ra, or other things.

    For your info, yes, it was that bad before 10.5 and before season 10. The last few months are being a lag pain everywhere.

    Bad coding, bad internet host, Bad hardware = Bad company. Lag has always been around but it became a more noticeable issue when Delta Rising hit and all the new stuff and events that came after it. Command Cruisers powers were identified as a problem, Other powers identified although i don't think these have been disclosed in full.
    My guess is the specialisation trees are a major player in lag and Starship traits when they work.

    At this moment in time the Coding, the Hardware the game runs on is so broken that i don't think changing internet provider would cure it all. I point to the server crash at launch of season 10.5. This shouldn't happen. The Dev's should know the existing code and be able to write modified code to copy across without an additional 7 hrs of down time. You can excuse it happening once but its practically every update. Even weekly patches have a tendency to introduce new or reintroduce old bugs or break content.

    since 10.5, i have a lot of rubberbanding, even in sector space, before 10.5, i had 0 rubberbanding, 0 lag even in the red alerts.

    yes, this is really really really frustrating, even the attack patterns with nothing to reduce the cd have this problem. for example when Attack pattern delta is at 0s; 2 or 3 seconds are added again. Or i push emergency power to shield1 and nothing happens, i try again and nothing, and other attempt, wow cool it works this time.

    each month, i spend 10, 20 or 30 euros, but not this month; i'm really fed up with this game; rubberbanding, lag, bugs (faces of my toons, clothes bugged or glitches, problem with the skills, etc); even my time spent in game has diminished

    Everything is causing the problems. It is not just bad servers or watever, also game features like traits, masteries, command powers, everything. Because bad coding and not fixing bugs is essential to make things go smooth and easy to fix / improve. Since everybody knows that bugfixing and releasing quality content is not the strenght of cryptic, its perfectly normal that this is getting worst, and it will never go away until the code is cleansed. Something that, after 4-5 years, i dont think is going to happen. Bad code contributes much more to server instability than lag itself, people usually are not aware of that, and since they only care about new content.. you figure.
