Interiors Revamp

So, after years of players asking, we finally have Earth-canine non-combat pets; beagles to go with our NX-replicas and Enterprise uniforms for those wishing to follow in the footsteps of Jonathan Archer... Except there's a problem; these poor cousins of Porthos and Snoopy have nowhere to sleep - unless of course it's intended they be permitted on the furniture in the Ready Room to do so. I look in my Ready Room and see a giant fishtank standing in the corner, right where a good pet bed for Sehlat cub, Alfa canine or even simple cat or dog could easily go instead... especially since I don't do fish as pets (they're food).

All showmanship aside, I know they're minor on the list of "Things For The Art Team to Focus On", but more and more the basic ship interiors are reaching the point where they need updating or they'll never be worth using for more than stopping in during the three or four missions that require doing something there (a couple missions where one has to analyse files, the KDF mission that only ends when one puts a trophy in the mess hall, etc.)

• The Federation Ready Room has a fishtank in the corner, but not everyone imagines themselves Jean-Luc Picard with his lionfish, some of us want something more suited to our actual non-combat pets or even neutral like a nice bookshelf.
• Gorn/Orion/Nausicaan player-characters can fly ships of their respective species... but are still stuck with KDF bridges, something that's somewhat annoying.
• Federation Mess Hall, on the upper level, there's a wonderful poker table, but it can't even be sat at because the chairs are too close in.
• The only non-ship-specific (looking at you, Scimitar bridge) Romulan interior ("Romulan-Romulan" officially, based on the I.R.W. Valdore from 'Nemesis') is beautiful, but has no functionality once one leaves the bridge - no Duty Officer Assignments, no mess hall for food and drink, no trophies (that not even on the bridge itself).
• "Romulan-Romulan" is the only bridge Romulan have, as mentioned it's a circa-late 2370's bridge, it doesn't mess well with the T'Liss starter or even the D'Deridex warbird-battlecruiser, two ships that we've seen different bridges for in TOS "Balance of Terror" and TNG "Face of the Enemy".
• Along with the almost-infamous MACO uniform, some ENT fans have been asking for an NX-style bridge almost as long as they have a beagle. They're still waiting on both the uniform and the bridge.
• It almost seems like there's become a movement against Trophies to display in Ready Rooms and Mess Halls - the new kill accolades don't seem to have any, none of the new ships introduced since at least Season Seven have wall trophies, there's been no new floor trophies added in years, and many of the missions that once awarded floor trophies - "State of Q", "Ghost Ship", "Swords of S'harian", etc. - have been removed during various Revamps. There are some of us who like to use our trophies as a way to keep track of achievements and personalise the otherwise cookie-cutter interiors to at least some degree and this becomes a disappointment.

I know it's a vicious cycle - less to do in the interiors means fewer players use them, less use means less focus, less focus means less to do - but it's got to be broken. I know it's easier to do Lobi and Lock Box ships since one only has to do a bridge, not a bridge, ready room and two other decks... but please, find time at some point to help the interiors - just about ever episode of a Star Trek series takes place in an interior, whether of a starship or a space station, and that makes this lack of attention to the interiors of ships in the game worse than the lack of attention to 'minor' social zones like Andoria and Vulcan...

I agree. I don't expect a SW:G level of immersion, anytime soon, but I'd like to feel "on a ship" when one of my characters is on a ship. Also, the Khnial and Galor interiors, are already ingame.
