Any thoughts on what this means for RR DOffs? I was thinking a possible addition of colonial DOffs.

I think this Pack has been available for 3 Years, and a new one is necessary.

I think if the pack were available all the time, instead of only occasionally, they would have sold a lot more. I know I would have bought more.

I would buy some right now, in fact, but they're not in the C-store, unless I'm overlooking them. If they're going to take the pack out, it seems like they should give us one last chance to buy it, and I'm sure they would make a fair amount of money off that last chance offer.

Heck, I'd be happy if I could just get Rom doffs out of the doff grinder.

The rommy survivor pack has been out of the C-store for a while now.

C-store doff packs could use an overhaul, I would purchase a lot more if their was a larger variety.

I would have bought more if they had actually been ROMULAN DOFFs instead of allied DOFFs. I bought one pack, unpacked it, saw the non-green borders and decided "never again". I'm glad it's gone. Hopefully, if/when they bring it back, the DOFFs will actually be OURS, not our allies'.

I think you're thinking of some other box. The DOffs I got out of these (and I bought quite a few) were Romulan, Reman, Suliban, and Acamarian ONLY.

I think what vorwoda means is that the doffs, while Romulan/Reman/Acamarian/Suliban, are Fed/KDF doffs, not RR doffs. The ones I have on my Fed/Rom have a blue border that shades to green in one corner. The standard RR doffs have an all-green border.

That's exactly what I meant. Thanks for clarifying, royalsoveriegn; and sorry I wasn't clearer, protogoth. It's the same thing I find unsatisfying about Rai and "Law", too. If they can do red and blue faction borders for the KDF and FED versions of the DOFFs - and they already have the green faction borders in their art collection, too - would it really take more than ten seconds to provide the Romulan version of a Romulan DOFF? (Honestly, what's involved - swap one layer in Photoshop or equivalent?) And another minute to change a line or two of code in the DOFF Pack to check for being opened by a Rom?

While she's not in the pack, for Rai, in particular this is ridiculous, as the requirements to get her for a Rom player is ALREADY different than for a FED or KDF player, so the faction check (Rom vs. other) is ALREADY done. But she's still shown as an allied faction DOFF - not a Romulan one.

Now you may think this is ridiculous of me to take issue with a petty detail like the background color of (essentially) a trading card. But the point is, if they are going to include such things to differentiate "our" DOFFs from "our allies'" DOFFs, then I think we have a legitimate issue. Surely Romulans and Remans should come in the RR "flavor", too? I realize we're only a fraction, but I'm not asking for a Starbase here - just a few moments from an artist's day. Heck, I'm no Rembrandt, but send me the layers, and I'll do them in GIMP and send 'em back completed at no charge. Would THAT be fair?

Wait, what? I can get Rai on my Fed and KDF characters? What sorcery is this? Somebody give me t3h ritual!

of thats the one I am thinking of, when you go to the ferengi's moon turn arund immediately at beam in and she's there.. klink/fed have to have high diplomacy, but we romulans knew her on virinat so she jumps at the chance to sign on with us.

Looks like you have to have Diplomacy or Marauding at Rank 4 to be able to convince her to join you.

    unless you're romulan
This duty officer can be obtained in “Mine Enemy” by interacting with the NPC of the same name.

Romulan Republic captains will recognize her from Virinat and convince her to join their crew.
Federation captains need at least tier 4 Diplomacy to persuade her to join their crew.
Klingon captains need at least tier 4 Marauding to offer her a position on their crew.

Indeed! I should have included that.

Nice. I'll have to take my few non-RRF characters back through and get her (although only two of the four have sufficient Marauding/Diplomacy atm).
