Hello all,

I am in the process of creating my new mission and was thinking that some of us authors might be having some trouble promoting their missions and tried everything like, posting it on the forums, trade reviewing , asking friends and fleet mates to play their missions and still having some problems getting plays so i decided to put together my own website, (link and website address will be below), to help and give even more help to the authors. My site wont solve the whole issue about promoting a mission but it will help.

I'm not a author, so I speak from a Foundry user POV: it'd be nice, if there was a good, multi-option search function. Something that is completely missing in the game itself.

I'm not sure how easy/difficult it would be to create, but I'm thinking about something like this:

I mark options "space" "combat" and enter "Andorian" as keyword, and it shows me all missions that have those options/keywords. It would require each author to select those options first, so that such search would display them. In other words, a more dynamic search of the content.

Because as the matters are now, there are lots of missions, and no way of narrowing one's search. And since such a website would offer something that the game doesn't (a good search option), it could become quite useful for both authors and players.

Another, easier to implement , idea is to add a "Romulan intro" to be followed by it's own group of missions. While technically Romulan stories are put either in the Fed or Klink side, it'd be easier to find such missions for those, who - again - have no easy way to do that in the game, unless the authors give good tags.​​

I added a UGC content button on my site which is now broken down into Federation, Klingon and Romulan missions.
