Nexus Story Idea

As a disclaimer, I don't know if this has been suggested before. Now, my idea for the Iconian storyline. In the movie Star Trek: Generations we become familiar with the Nexus, a powerful and destructive ribbon of temporal energy that travels through the galaxy every 39.1 years. As you can see here: http://en.memory-alpha.wikia.com/wiki/Nexus in the end of the first paragraph, the Nexus is scheduled to return in 2410. What year is it currently in the game? 2410. My idea is just a rough concept, but what if the Alliance harnessed the Nexus's energy , and incorporated it into the Krenim temporal weapon? I think it's perfect how it would all fit in to the story.

It would be awesome if they did something with the Nexus, but I dont think it would make sense for them to add it to the Krenim ship. The ships design was perfected long ago during Voyager's time. Besides the time ship was based on very precise analysis and calculations of the time line while the Nexus seems to very erratic, destroying everything in its pass and absorbing any life it comes into contact with.

the only potential problem I could see, is just the fact that I don't know that the CBS license as it exists right now, goes all the way into movie stuff. we got ships and uniforms yes, but Im not sure if thats as far as it goes. We would need to summon one of the infernal lawyers in order to get a ruling on the field, but im not sure we can have it.

In other news, this would be cool seeing as how techincally Guinan, Sorin, Kirk and Picard are all technically still in there. ​​
