A new STO player fan hobby just dawned on me. We should write and illustrate our own comic books using screen shots! You know this game pretends theres no one out there doing awesome stuff but you? Well heres a chance for players to share the adventures of THEIR ship and crew. It takes the writing contest to a whole new level!
Rules: Photoshop OK ( You can pull this off in MS Paint if you're good enough)
Post Comic book in OUTSIDE photo website and link book here. I dont want a billion pages of this thread where every post is a page of your book. Maybe 1 frame of your book as a visible picture then link to the rest.
You can add a few outside "prop" elements to your pages, but 90% of the pages should be shots and angles and props from the game.
All you need to do is take screenshots of your ship and crew, add comic book captions to what your crew is saying, and publish it in any comic book style you want.
You can put your crew in Cryptic or Foundry missions, and write what YOUR crew would REALLY say on the mission. Or go the extra mile and make a foundry mission layout of sets and props for your crew to stand next to for photos and add your own story.
