Looking for an RP fleet

Well at this point I'm fairly jaded as far as RP fleets go. I've wanted to develop my character's and their own stories, and have been told by multiple fleets that such a thing would be possible in their groups, each group failed miserably thus far, every time the fleet was either dead or all the rp boiled down to standing around and talking about nothing at the starbase bar.

Still I want to hold on to some optimism, all I ask is don't be overly restrictive, don't have a lengthy application process out of game and actually be active with members that don't ignore people that haven't already been there for years.

The Trust may be a good fit for you. We're a medium RP fleet (RP is the main focus of the fleet but members aren't required to RP the entire time they're in the game) that's been around since the beginning of the game. We are faithful to canon, without being elitist, and we encourage and help our members develop their own stories. We also do fleet-wide stories, some of which incorporate The Foundry. Most of our members are in the U.S. Central and Eastern timezones, so fleet RP mainly occurs during the evening in the U.S., but we also have members in the EU and Japan. We do a lot of RP in-game, but we also do a lot on our fleet website in the form of short stories, logs, etc., and we post chat logs of in-game RP sessions/events so people who weren't in attendance can keep up on what's happening with the fleet and other members' characters. In terms of activity, we have people on everyday, and RP in-game and/or on the fleet website occurs almost every day. Members don't have to look long or far to find someone willing to RP or to collaborate on RP. You can take a look and see the kind of stuff we do at stotrust.shivtr.com.

The application process is simple. Fill out an application on our website and a fleet officer will contact you to do an interview with IC and OOC components. (We do this to help screen out trolls, and to make sure that we're a good fit and that you have at least a basic character concept established that doesn't clash with canon) If everything works out with the interview, you'll gain provisional membership for 2 weeks, during which you get to know people and RP, and then take a membership test, which is a RP session run by a fleet officer to make sure you have the basics of RP. After that, you're in!

Talk to @protogoth, her fleet's the best RP group in the game. Avoid both Dental and xternity, they're at war and you'd catch a heaping load of drama to the face.

Sure, like there's absolutely no drama associated with worffan, either.

What does any drama involving worffran have to do with me or my fleets? He's not a member of any of our fleets, afaik.

Thanks for the recommendation and praise, worffran. But in the interests of full disclosure, I should point out that we are not RP fleets. We welcome and encourage RP, but we recognize that some people just have no interest, and we're willing to welcome them as well, so long as they respect that many of us do RP.

Anyway, to SFD and xternity, and shazia if he/she isn't in one of those two, this is all a moot point now, since the OP is in one of my fleets. Nice chatting with yas. Toodles.
