If you try to build components through clicking on them through the actual item, it bugs the slider to 2 total.
Example - If you wanted to build a Beam Array, and find out that you're missing a Focusing Lens. You would click on the red icon to build one, but it would restrict you to 2. If you click on the Focusing Lens in the actual Beams School, you'd be allowed to build 5.

Yeah its been in for the past 2 patches. I just hit cancel on the project. It then highlights in the list what I was just trying to make, go into it again and it then allows 5.
Cancel and go back into making it from list is my work around.

Read my post for how it happens and how to work around it. It's a simple workaround.
