Hi guys

Which shield would be better?

Adapted honour guard or Elite fleet resilient

Mostly elite pve I play

    Between those 2 shields, Elite Fleet Resilient. Most especially so if you are running Plasmonic Leech. The Adapted HG shields' ability to grant extra power conflicts with Plasmonic Leech. That characteristic is the major failing of Adapted HG/MACO Shields.

    If you absolutely need a blanket answer, and not knowing anything about the rest of your gear, pick the fleet.

    If you're running a sci with the complete adapted honor guard aka; Maco, running a low graviton high partigen build and you're just teasing me, then okay. Honor Guard.

    But seriously on most of my gear sets since many don't have resilient shields I'll often toss away the three piece bonus for the safety of the Fleet Elite. On characters where I don't have that option I'll purchase double resistance resilient shields. Often for dirty cheap.

    i thought our only option for elite fleet shields were the regenerative flavors and resilient was left at advanced for fleet shield.

    could be wrong haven't looked for some time.

    Adapted Honor Guard is Maco, on my Fed I use either Maco or Fleet, but more often than not the Maco. I not only like the visuals, but find it overall more useful.

    My KDF Run 2 part KHG, with C.C. Deflector, because I love my Torpedos, with the exception if I am running Polarons, {Vaudwaar}, I use th JEM Set.

    I use Aegis in the intrim until a character can get the set I want, but mk XIV UR Aegis isn't bad at all. Running that on a Mat'ha and it works great.
