Well where to begin? I haven't been playing so much lately because i had such of hard time playing any pvp or fleet actions because not enough players play them.Still trying to do dailies and other events hoping that they bring me into better mood and would get me play more.
About risa event:
New year, more stuff to do at risa...Well not so much.Few new jet packs, power boards, constumes and a new ship.Wow, and i was hoping new daily missions or at least one mission
Or maybe players could have actually swim in water, well one would have to fix that dropping under water bug first, lol.Why not expand the map to include more water area and few small islands, they are already there i've been there few years ago when there was a bug that would allow players to go far outside the map.I think it could be done, when there are maps like Nimbus 3.
Well let's play some pvp then:
Ok.It's 8pm on tuesday and there are 0 players on any pvp que wow, so no daily rewards from pvp today :sad.When i do play pvp i don't really enjoy it.When any ship equipped with cannons can kill a cruiser ship in 5 seconds you know pvp is not going to be fun.
Fleet actions:
Well if you can't get 10 people to play pvp, good luck getting 20 players to play big dig or klingon scout force dailies That mine trap is great que, really liked that one but nobody plays it anymore because everyone has got that 1000 kill accolade from it by now.
Money, money or aka dilithium:
If you happen to have 10 million refined dilithium, look out.Game keeps refining that 8000k per day even if you dont play (that life time sub benefit) and because you have maxed out dilithium you will lose all that 8k, sweet...wow nobody really think about putting some kind of stop to that if you have maxed it out, really wow.So no more extra dilithium from reputation during dilithium event, ok...so cant give us even 5-10% more? I think it was like 50% long time ago.
STFs:
At least i can play these.There are actually players playing.I played one about 2 weeks ago after not played one for months.Well it lagged so much that it failed and it was only advanced difficulty.Even so probably the best way to get daily dilithium now days.Hey, how's that second latest stf doing, called Hive Onslaught or Into the Hive.Nobody seems to play it, heh.Probably because it's way too hard.I know i never liked it.
The future (aka the Calendar):
Well, i really liked the old one and i would nuke this new one.Old one had event 2-3 hours 2-3 times a day.New one have 3 days every two months or something like that.If you look for some specific event like boost to fleet marks or dilithium and don't count that "well there is some event every weekend".
Well back to risa and jumping on water because i can't swim, hehe.Since its summer and schools are on holiday maybe there will be more players playing star trek online.Cheers.
