A quick question for Cryptic

I don't really like to complain on the forums and I don't know if this has been thoroughly addressed or not, but what the heck did you do to the XP gain? I just ground through a couple Delta Rising missions and patrols at level 54 and found that I gaind almost no XP. Seriously? What is with this?
As a returning player, I would appreciate an answer.

"Please sir, can I have some more XP?"

    The 50 to 60 leveling curve has been like that since Delta Rising has launched. I've seen you on the forums frequently between then and now, how could you have missed all of the threads about it? Furthermore, why is this in Ten Forward?

    Not trolling. Legit question. Plus, this is the only section of the forums I ever visit and I haven't played STO too much lately or DR.

    Actually, it was a weeks after Delta Rising went live that the XP grind that we currently suffer from was added to the game.

    Doffing is the only decent way to grind XP in the game and that was nerfed a few weeks ago. I just don't understand how a 48 hour assignment can give less XP than a 8 hour assignment.

    I probably won't play STO too much then if this is the rate I gain XP. I know better games with no grind. Now I kinda feel guilty that I turned my friend onto this:(.

    I'm not leaving the game, but I probably won't buy ships from them anymore orbplay as much.
    I'm selling rare crafting materials on the exchange however for a cheap price if you want them however.

    You can only recommend a MMO to a friend. It is their choice if they decide to stick with it.
