Red Tents on Risa??

Is it just me or is Risa a bit disappointing this year?
Nothing new to do...

ok we got a new ship to grind out for, and a few new shinies in the favor store, but aprt from that - nothing.

Then there are these new red tents near the river. Collectors items, a bar, a non-functional dabo table and so large horgana statues. but nothing to do there... what is this area for?

Those are for the labor camps when Tacofangs suspends the Lohlunat festival and declares himself the dictator of Risa. I read it in a FW: FW: FW: FW: FW: e-mail, so you know it's legit.

It's my first year, so it's all new to me.

I thought it was odd too. They've obviously put effort into it.
There's Hirogen helmets and Romulan helmets, a tri-dimentional chess board, a box of empty item capsules we get as loot, what appear to be Ferengi tricorders, Kar'takin, and the things you'd mentioned.


It seems either something wasn't completed on time, maybe something Ferengi related or it'll be added in an update or it won't and the idea will simply be scrapped all together.


Certainly interesting, though.

Let's hope it's not just a lobi store but something they planned for everyone next year.
