    Yes, she was. And Battle 360, with episodes such as Episode 5: "Enterprise vs. Japan" helps us civilian types understand why.


    Odd that they don't have CVN-65, the first nuclear "wessel", as she was actually in a Star Trek movie.

    A few number on the CV-6 during WW2:
    Sunk 71 japanese warship, damaged 290 ships, shot down ~900 or so fighters.

    Oh and CVN-65, first floating nuclear powerplant in the World.
