Elachi - Heralds

The elachi are supposed to be soldiers and the heralds personal bodyguards of the iconians but yet the herald numbers seems to be in the billions while the elachi got a few hundred shipss?

    Disagree. Biggest fleet in the game is still the Elachi attacking New Romulus in "Devil's Choice."

    I think STOs story is not really consistent in that regard. They manoeuvred themselves into a dead-end, basically, with all those "servitor races". I am sure that the "Heralds" were planned to be Iconians but on a short notice they decided to change that.

    Or the Elachi are forward recon and the Heralds are the line troops.

    or the Iconians were using different species and tactics to throw everyone off. Elachi were used against the Romulan Republic along with manipulating the Tal Shiar. The Iconians were tricking the Undine to cause a war between the KDF and Federation. Then they manipulated the Vaadwaur to disrupt the Delta Quadrant. I'm actually curious as to what the Iconians have been up to in the Gamma Quadrant.
