I came in to this thread expecting a debate on the best type of pizza crust. The idea of not eating it all never even occurred to me.
Heresy may be found in the strangest of places. Although crusts are better if you've got sauce for them. And as for those vile, vile p'taq'jai who use an extra large crust to claim it's a 10" when they've only put on 8" or less of sauce and toppings...there is a special place in Gre'thor for them.
I almost never eat the crusts (unless a stuffed crust) Since I've stopped eating bread, I likely won't be eating pizza again... *sigh*

Given the amount of additives, preservatives and other things in it, it's just not a healthy product. I had thought I might still treat myself to the occasional cheese sandwich, but after two weeks, I can honestly say I'm not really feeling the urge to even eat it Essentially, I'm just not eating anything processed :cool:

I suppose that's understandable but.... wouldn't the crust be healthier than pepperoni and wellll... all of the other non-vegetable/fruit toppings?
That all depends on the crust. If I get this dreadful Little Ceaser's type of crust, I never eat that. But if I get a crust stuffed with cheese, I will shove you out of my way to go for that!
But then I went to Pizza The Hutt, and their new version of stuffed crust is actually a soggy bottom crust. The actual crust part is still epic and legendary, but I HATE the entire bottom layer is a soggy mess. So when I go there, I simply get the pan crust.
As of recent, they also have this new thing where I can order the crust with a layer of baked cheddar That on pan crust is amazing!

You should try the bacon cheeseburger pizza. It has the cheddar crust, meatballs, bacon, tomatoes, onions, and barbeque sauce. Sounds gross, but it's SO GOOD.
