I'm finding the foundry map editor very difficult to work with. The way it's set up now, it's very difficult to see and if it's a ground map, you can't see anything. If I want to set up detail stuff like statues or lap post, you can't. I see and end up having to guess then run into play map hoping I got it right.
Please put it back to the way it was. It was difficult but you could work with it. This I can't.
Watch the latest Foundry Roundtable.... We had Zero (and Salami) as a guest and demonstrated the issue.... Zero said they were working on a fix, and I'm sure they are.
If you are building a sky castle, use a glass floor as your temporary base. It helps you to see where everything is, and it can be replaced later with a more appropriate flooring choice. The glass floor doesn't create the same interference patterns that the other types do.
Rename your ceiling panels such that the name includes the coordinates of the ceiling panel. This allows you to move them off to the side while you work, but easily return them to position.
These things won't help with items that are showing the incorrect shapes currently, but will cut down on the amount of interference and will assist in placement.
