Come on, I am SO tired of seeing these more then useless mods pop up on my items when I craft em. If you thought the [Dmg] was useless, try the PvP mods then. Remove them completely please so we don't have to suffer this useless type of silly items anymore.
I've been seeing more and more of these useless, pathetic, pvp mods that make it so I trash more crafted weapons than sell. If it's an unlucky draw, every once in a while, I can swallow my losses and try again. I'm seeing them so often now, that it is wasted resources trying to craft anything. I no longer try.
I can agree with this request, as they should have never implemented ANY 1 sided mod, all mods should be pve & pvp friendly.
A pvp mod, is not 2 sided friendly and, should never have existed!!!
Plus, they are most likely broken and even worse then the DMG mod. No PvPer would ever use them anyway, so yeah, just delete them.
They seem more like a token inclusion in the crafting system...
Convert [PvP Dmg] into [ShPen].
Convert [PvP Res] into [Res].
Within the tables for the generation...replace them.
Simple (not simple, I know) as that.
Basically, trying to come up with "interesting" replacements for it.
Removing them isn't suddenly going to make it easier for folks to get their [CrtD]x3 weapons...which in of itself is kind of funny, when one thinks about it - the complaint about the PvP mods...when even if that were addressed, next would be [Snare], [Thrust], etc, etc, etc...then into [Dmg]...[Acc]...[CrtH].
But the PvP mods are kind of stinkers above and beyond...
What I'd rather see instead of removing mods that some people MAY want,.. is to allow crafters to CHOOSE their mods with reliability,... even if it costs a little more.

As for crafters choosing what they want, it goes against the Lock Box mentality.
You know what, it's not even a Lock Box mentality...actually. It gets more into the TCG thing, thinking about it.
You go to the store...you buy a package of cards, a booster, whatever...and you get random cards. Hell, it's not even just TCG...it's cards in general are like that. Remember trading all sorts of cards when I was a kid...there were no TCGs...just TCs.
I agree, amongst other things like the odds of critical success seem to vary from one moment to the next, one moment everything is criting then nothing, but hey the devs don't listen anyway so that is why I have stopped putting money into the game and so many people have stopped playing, I give the game to the end of the year and then I think they will pull the plug.
Wow, I guess no one has heard, the devs have already stated they are removing the PVP mod.

I ask because I finally lucked out and crafted a UR Omni....... but its stuck with the PVP Dmg mod. Id be overjoyed it the mods will be replaced on existing weapons with literally any other mod (even Dmg, though obviously CritD or Pen would be way better)

I support that change...However I only have 1 weapon with that mod...By accident..

RnD and upgrade needs less RNG. Less lottery. Something has to change.
