One question about Mirror Universe Qin Heavy Raptor

Hi, I just bought a Mirror Universe Qin Heavy Raptor through the exchange.
The description says that is avaiable for all KDF Captains, so I thought to use it with my Romulan KDF aligned toon (level 60).
But when I try to open the pack, it says "you do not meet the requirements for this item".
It means that the ship is avaiable just for KDF and not for Romulans KDF aligned, or what?

*I also have a Klingon character, so I can give the ship to him, it's not a problem, but if possible I would like give this ship to my rommie.

    I believe cross-race ships are only available up to like T4 or something, Mirror Qin is a T5 ship. After that, race specific only.

    So any Klingon can use any Klingon ship, any KDF aligned Rom can use any Klingon ships up to T4, after that Rom ships only.

    At least that's how I have observed it works, since if I go to ship requisitions on my Rom, I see all ships up to T4 and could if I wanted to, claim them.

    Romulans can use up to T4 ships of their allied faction, so you'll have to give that ship to your Klingon if you want to use it.

    NP. The Mirror Qin is a good ship. I flew one for a long time. I would suggest something a bit more updated when your character is high enough level to use it.

    That being said, you could do a lot worse than a Mirror Qin. One of those got me through the whole Dominion/Bajoran arc and then some.

    Grab the Mirror Mogai if you can find one still. Though they can't be upgraded to T5-U that is one very good ship, particularly if you like Raptors/Destroyers.

    Mirror Mogai is a very fine alternative to the Mirror Qin. Now comes in Grav Well flavor as well!

    Indeed, I'd happily put her up against the Qin and the Fed Escort as the "Best Mirror Ship" in game. And she is dead sexy as well (IMHO)

    BTW, kudos to the OP for not launching into a two page rant about how they should be able to use it, Rom fraction, etc. ad nauseam. Sad that I even feel the need to mention it.

    Well, true my Klink Engi did like the Mirror Voq, though I'm not sure that's a great endorsement, because Klingon's a known to like the look of ... overly muscled and disproportionately large haunches.

    :( Just a pity the Mirror Mogai can't get the T5-U treatment. Kit bashed with a little Valdore love it's gorgeous. <sigh>

    Aye, the Valdore parts help tone down the whole "space glider" look of the Mogai. ;)
