So is the damage thing with the manheim device also being removed? Because it would be better for both the healing and damage interaction to be removed.

We're working on a fairly substantial re-design of this console in general. For the time being, all we removed is the Healing interactions, as it was causing some extreme latency (and in some instances, server disconnects) when certain abilities were used while Manheim duplicates were present. The damage component wasn't causing these same issues, so wasn't removed in tomorrow's build.

Glad they fixed the Doffs on when the mission failed. At times I thought the game was cheating me out of those. Now I will know if any of my Doffs end up dying as well. So I can find a replacement.

Didn't realize people still used the suicide console.

Glad it is getting a redesign!

Thanks for the fix to doff assignments that fail being deleted instead of going into the completed tab.

And thanks for FINALLY putting the missing "haggle for" assignments in the known issues list. I've been having to use my Ferasan Nepata Leaves, Tuleberries, Bajoran Batteret Incense, etc., sparingly since I haven't been able to find the assignments to get more, not on any of my 15 characters I keep stationed at DS9. I look forward to it being fixed, along with other doff assignments being goofed up in sector space, when you guys can get around to it. :)

ok, what about the invisible items issue?, ground weapons, space torpedos, and issues with the kar'fi carrier being half missing? when is someone going to at least look into this? its not just affecting weapons and such, there has been some issues with missions as well, trying to see the iconian symbols is particularly annoying, not to mention invisible powers like tykens rift and gravity well.

Please don't give me " this issue has not been reported" either, I have been reporting it and even posted screenshots, everything was working just fine up to season 10 release, now its been nothing but problems.

can you elaborate on the issue as I have a feeling that some of the issues that you stated aren't issues their end.

I see Trendy kept this thread open. :) Cool.

Glad you're reworking it. While you're at it, please remove the damage component of it altogether (permanently); it's the main reason no one ever uses this suicide console. Either that, or upgrade its A.I., so it won't jump in headlong into the fray, like a chicken without a head, all the time.

You mean tanks aren't usually suicidal? They sure are in SWTOR and Rift (unless you make your companions passive, which then makes them useless in sudden/unforeseen combat situations, until you make them active again).

yes, as a matter of fact, I can elaborate, I will show you, these were done by another with the same exact issues.

    invisible weapon example.

    mission items missing

    space effects missing

I need to thank Hanamussen, he originally posted the issues far better then my simple screenshots in graphical pc issues, which is where I have also posted weeks ago.
I hope this is the elaboration you wanted.

I just refer to it as the Manheimdead Device. You activate it and say "Man, I'm dead!"

so what actually was the original intent for that console anyway that would promote such a huge change?

You activate the device and it summoned two duplicates of your ship. One from the past, one from the future.

If your past duplicate received any healing, that healing would then bounce back to you -- and if you healed yourself, your future duplicate would in turn receive the healing. It was only a one-way effect, though. You couldn't heal your past duplicate, which would in turn heal yourself, which would then heal your future duplicate.

This also affected hull damage. So if your past counterpart took hull damage, you'd take that hull damage (bypassed your shields). And if you were caught in an AoE damage effect.. you know, like just about everything in the end game? Well, you'd take twice as much damage. The damage you took, plus the damage your past duplicate took. Through your shields.

Thus, if you were too close to a warp core explosion -- or your duplicate was? You just died.

The original intent sounded a lot cooler inside the designer's head than what actually made it in game.

The Manheim Device thing doesn't impact me directly as I don't own one, but if it reduces the lag, I'm happy for it.

As for the rest of the patch notes, I'm sad to see there isn't more for the login issues... It would be nice to get some sort of acknowledgement from the devs that they are working on it, since last week's patch said it was going to fix it but it didn't have any effect...

Where did it say it was going to be fixed as opposed to being worked towards?

It's saddening and disappointing to see that there's no fix for the Dyson BZ or Zaria in this patch. :(

On the upside, thank you for delaying the new FE to squash the bugs. This is a correct decision, and as you can see from the thread, supported by those who play. We'd rather get it in working order. :)

Got to echo the same sentiment on this one. I have a DR toon marooned in the outskirts due to incessant crashes. I've parked STO for the moment until this is addressed.

I would like to raise an issue from the Delta Recruitment event. One of my non-delta recruits accidentally discarded her Temporal Negotiator.

Would it be possible to make it so that the Temporal Negotiator and Paradox Corrector are re-claimable if lost, just like the Photonic BOFF is re-claimable if dismissed

fact both issues aren't even listed as "known " problems , doesn't bode well for any expedient fix ...

I'm slowly coming to the realization they are not unwilling to fix the crashes to desktop but are unable to

So when are cryptic supposed to fix the boff ground skills that falls off every time i go to ground?
Its not even on bug list, while the list of persons who have this problem is 17 pages long.

heres the link to forum: http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=1359751&page=17

This has been a problem since the release of the new training system, and its not even recognized as a bug? Shame on you cryptic.

Keep in mind that few (if not in fact none which is the case here) of the issues fixed with this update were listed as "known bugs" last week. Ditto the week before, and so on.

It might be worth it at this point to stop interpreting that list as the end-all of cryptic's QA department. Its frustrating not having any public recognition of known (to us) issues, but its very unlikely in any case that we're going to find that in the last section of the patch notes.
