Too bad the rewards for completing them are so **** it's not worth the time and effort to do it.
-the playerbase
I keep reading this, but this past week there was a big private queue, and 1 section failed to save any roms at all, and we still got over 120 rom marks (not counting the daily bonus).
I can't think of a better source of rom marks.
Also too, I don't play for rewards. I play for fun. I have already grinded everything I want to grind.
All the players in their area would board up buildings, while bridge officers provide cover.
Have you even played the mission? There are no enemies in the board up houses phase, they only arrive when the time runs out. Bridge officers would just be following you like lost puppies, useless.
And bridge officers with their lackluster AI couldn't effectively defend buildings in phase 3 much less babysit the survivors in phase 4.

When I started a private queue the other day and was actually ABLE to play the game, when you're telling some of the people to go home, they turn into Salt Vampires and turn you into one.

Yes, they do. I'm sure that means 4 dudes following you around waiting to shoot the one or two enemies that appear, when they should be herding civilians, will be great help in phase 1. You might save 8 or even 9 civilians out of 32. Well, at least if the Salt Vampire doesn't cast its illusion on you and cause the dumb boffs to shoot you instead.
But in phase 2, those 4 dudes still following you around instead of boarding houses, no help at all.
And phase 3...you got 4 dumb apes shooting whatever they feel like instead of focusing on defending the buildings. You can't effectively defend more than one, especially since you didn't have time to board them up by yourself, so all the others are destroyed.
Phase 4...buncha dudes following you around again. Only the fact that you already got all but 2 civilians killed in phases 1 and 3, them dumbly following you around isn't such a big problem anymore, since you can babysit the civvies yourself.
Phase 5 is a straight-up shoot-everything so the boffs could finally do the only thing they know how. But since the 1 civilian that survived this far will just take the first shuttle and its over, it's not like you need them anymore.

yeah I should had rolled with that team when I realised they were having problems. We got every single man out for my team.

Phase 4 is actually worse than that. Odds are your boffs would kill the civvies with aoe unless you put them on passive. In which case, why have them at all.
