There is no cruisers that I know of who have tac commander seats - they have always tied the cmdr seat to the ship type, with cruisers getting engineering, sci vessels getting sci, and escorts getting tac.
I see no change to that on the horizon.
So the most overpowered ship in the game isn't ringing any bells!?
To my knowledge the only T6 heavy carrier right now is the Breen one, and that one leads with Science rather than tactical. That said the 5U Jem'Dread has everything a T6 ship has except for one boff station and a trait, so you could always go looking at ships for complimentary traits instead. The Astika, Phantom, and Presidio all come to mind.
As for a cruiser with a fixed tac commander, there aren't any (except maybe the Scimitar whatever family you want to call it) because then it wouldn't be a cruiser. For big-and-slow-with-Cmdr-tac though there's your Jem'Dread and the Narcine carriers, or for ships with Cmdr Universal there's Recluse and the Tal Shiar Adapted Battlecruiser, all T5U. T6 though, top possible tac slot on a cruiser is LtCmdr, though you could always run the Benthan cruiser for up to 7 tac stations if thats what you want.
Thank you for the suggestions! It looks like I will getting another Jem hadar Dreadnaught carrier for my alt as it is a proven combat ship and is quite agile for its size. In short it’s a no nonsense ship that gets the job done.
You don't have a lot of t6 ships to choose from yet. Either one of the t6 carriers is what you want, or you are out of luck. And one of the t6 "cruisers" fits your needs or it does not.
The benthan is one of the best of the lot. I really enjoy mine... it hits hard and its durable. The tac flavored command cruiser is not bad either, but the benthan is better in my experience. I don't have the fed command though, I have the rom command -- might be slightly different not sure.
The recluse does not really keep up anymore. Lacking both 1 gun and at least 1 tac console, its a medium dps ship at best and much of that is just its pets being awesome. The TSABC does OK at t5U and can also become a strong hybrid sci ship, its a really good ship and one of the most flexible in the game.

I am curious. On a the Benthan cruiser it is possible to have a Tactical Commander & Tactical Lt. Commander?
T6 avenger type (battler cruiser)
T6 Dready Galaxy X/Warbird/Scim
T6 Carrier, perhaps the super heavy escort carrer (2 Hanger Bays)
T6 Borg Sphere (for ****s n giggles)

Nope. Lookit the wiki for ship details. Its cmdr engineer, ltcmdr tac and another tac and such.
You don't need a cmdr tac seat. It gives you one more pattern beta or something, but this is a t6 --- it has intel, so you can make up for the one skill with an OSS or something... don't think of it in terms of T5 ships in other words.
It still packs a solid punch *for a 4 console 4 gun ship*. Its no scimitar... and it does not seat surgical, but it is a solid "tier 2" damage dealer even so.

No but it can do LtCmdr and 2 Lts for Tac and still has 8 weapons, a turn of 10.5, and cruiser commands, plus there's fun to be had with the Viral Torpedo trait. Funny-looking ship though.

I never really saw the Recluse as a DPS ship at all. It's more of a tank/healer in my opinion. If I wanted to do DPS, I wouldn't get a Recluse.
As it's my favorite ship in the game, I would really like to see a T6 Recluse.
How about the constitution class from the 2009 and 2013 star trek movies directed by JJ abrams. The ship could be equiped with special dual phaser turrets, as well as be a carrier, considering how the new movie enterprise has a massive shuttle bay in comparrison to the original.

I'd give my left ******** for a T6 Avenger. Love that ship.
If the trend of releasing Tier 6 ships in cross-faction bundles holds (and I hope it does), this tier could be used to fill several holes across the factions. The Command Cruisers gave every faction a Flight Deck Cruiser, an Engineering carrier, which was a ship type previously available only to KDF (through the Orion barges) and Romulans (through the Falchion Dreadnought). The Piloting Escorts gave every faction a 5 fore/2 aft Tactical glass cannon, previously available only to Starfleet (through the Andorian ships) and, more recently, KDF (via the Mat'Ha Raptor).
I'd love to see a bundle of Tier 6 Escort Carriers, which KDF currently lacks (Starfleet has the Armitage, Romulan Republic has the Ar'kif). I'd love to see a bundle of Tier 6 Vector Separation Cruisers, which the KDF also lacks (Starfleet has the Galaxy and Odyssey, Romulan Republic has the Haakona). This tier of ships could usher in an era of playing the faction whose atmosphere appeals to you, without feeling like your hand is forced by the type of ship you want to command, if the developers want to make it their mission to give us that much freedom.

Nice! A tactical cube would also be nice..
