1) Slamek (traitor)
2) Koren, and maybe that Gorn ambassador if I can line them up in one shot (arrogant idiots who thought the Feds were obligated to listen to the people who were ATTACKING them like that worked so great in '72)
3) Rugan Skyl (war criminal sympathizer if not actual war criminal, and embarassment to the Union)
4) Annoying voiceover woman in Viscous Cycle
5) The Ferengi in the Winter Wonderland
i gotta say, you're wrong about #2....the STO tie in novel The Needs of the Many, as well as the beginning of the game itself BOTH tell us that the klingons were the first to discover the infiltration of all the major factions at the highest levels by the undine, and their warnings were ignored by the Federation, and this is what led to the eventual breakdown of relations and subsequent war....so ya'll ignored the Empire's warnings long before they started attacking you...maybe rethink tossing out unwarranted insults hmmm?
anyway, as for me:
1. Slamek....you gotta go son, no one gets away with betraying me like that
2. Kurland...Kurland here...this is Kurland....DIEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! *BLAM*
3. Summer Jazzercise Lady....if i have to hear her say "do the snake" one more time....
4. Sela...i'm just, no, there's no intel she's got that is worth having to listen to that smug, arrogant woman any longer....she's even got me on galactic speed dial now with that data recorder...i did NOT sign on to be her BFFOUSDNMA (Best Friends Forever Or Until She Doesn't Need Me Anymore)
5. Worf...for not reclining nude in my bed for me every night...*gigglesnort* i'm just kidding, i do love worf ^^ no...i wanna kill the tailor on Qo'noS for losing my damn outfits every time i do an FE...i don't care if i get slots to replace the old ones! i want my outfits back! i put a lot of work into those things! (never EVER get between a klingon woman and her clothes, nuh-uh!)
6. and finally...the best for last; the Winter Epohh Researcher....i'm very sorry to whoever voiced her, but she is supernatural in her annoyingness...its like nails on a chalk board mixed with jim carrey's sound in dumb and dumber all wrapped up in sugar coated needles x3
KDF for Life! Romulan at Heart Fed cause they made me ~ :P
Onyx, the fact that the Klingons were correct in the infiltration in no way justifies their actions. In fact, they should have realized that by grabbing and growling like territorial dogs, they would appear to be doing exactly what they did to the Cardassians in '72 (unjustified attack on grounds of supposed Changeling infiltration that then led to the Dominion getting a beachhead in the Alpha Quadrant that they likely would not have had otherwise). To put it in the simplest terms, the Klinks had cried wolf once before with incredibly disastrous consequences on *exactly* the same sort of matter. Add that to the blatant REAL motive of the Klingons, as the Feds would see it--territorial expansion--frankly, the Klinks were morons and should have known that not only was attacking the Federation a bad idea because it would reinforce the belief engendered by *their own past actions,* that they were just being backwards expansionists on false pretenses again, but that just as with the Dominion, their aggression would weaken the entire Quadrant before the real enemy.
This all came to pass with a vengeance. For their belligerent stupidity, they are IMO at fault. The Feds would have done better to listen, yes, but when it comes to the Klingon-Federation war, I refuse to play the game of victim blame. They didn't ask for it. So I consider my opinion of the Klingons warranted.
An alternative course of action that would have actually been *intelligent* would have been for the Klingons to blitz the Federation media and get the people protesting their government and demanding they no longer deny the Undine threat. This would have been *smart* combat, even though not with swords.
Had the Klingons been written differently in STO, I might have actually had a chance of respecting them, even after all the damage TNG and DS9 did to them. As it was, they were written as complete morons.
The one sign of intelligence I have seen recently is the Klingon captain put in charge of anti-Iconian efforts. Instead of dwelling on past grudges, or wasting his time on gratuitous bluster and insults, he focuses on the current situation and future results. With more like him in charge instead of this idiot J'mpok and all of his stupid glory-targs, I think the Quadrant could have been a much better place. If Cryptic wants to salvage the Empire even slightly, they need to continue with this new captain and we should never see Koren or that "ambassador" again.
Anyway, I don't want to derail the thread with a prolonged argument, but that is why I think as I do.

In fairness, B'vat had the ear of the Chancellor, and his own reasons for wanting an unending war with the Federation - although with developments in the game, it would surprise me not at all to find out that he'd been sold on the idea by Iconian agents, as that selfsame war was playing directly into their hands.
Doesn't excuse Jm'pok's stupidity for listening to B'vat in the first place, just explains it. And explains why the war winds down so fast after you stop B'vat's plans.
Not unlike Gowron so readily listening to the false Martok. And I agree, it would not surprise me if the Iconians had some temporally-capable agents as their proxies to avoid that line of attack, and could well have had influence over B'vat. I'd laugh even harder if said agent was Undine. The irony would be absolutely delicious, and in the context of the game's history, unsurprising.

However, if I had a cadre of Undine shapechangers I could get to replace decision makers to change various policies and business plans... I think among a lot of politicians there might be a spot for some PWE boss or so.
1 to 5 Kurland (and just to be sure, and after the five shots i would impale him with a wooden stake)
6 Slamek
Beta, LTA, CE, Multiple preorder Versions, all Addon Packs except AoY, nearly all KDF/Rom and ~50% of all Fedships, over 25 LockboxShips, Endurer of Atari's "Year of Hell", but...
Kurland, all 6 rounds. this animosity may come from having to play through boldly they trolled so many times for dom polaron sets...but the script was horrible, clandestine mission and he's constantly talking over comms.

What's with all the Kurland hate trendy? Kurland is an awesome dude 👍
Kurland gets more flack than he deserves IMO, especially since he took responsibility to make sure he was involved in getting his station back. Even the Sisko had to retreat against that BIG of a Dominion fleet. Plus, quite frankly, it should NOT be him doing the EV walk on the station since if things go pear shaped, the fleet needs to have him protected, so he can continue to advise on defeating his station's defenses and in a worst case scenario, *destroying* his station.
And honestly I don't even find the voiceover that annoying. Especially not after some of the Winter Wonderland offenses (though definitely keep Neelix...he is as good as the show there ), the Viscous Cycle lady, Slamek, and the woman someone reminded me of on Bajor who is "here to help." Kurland is very inoffensive in comparison.
Oh, and at least Kurland's battles have been against real, TOUGH enemies. Picard still wins the award for most embarrassing ship takeover. Just watch "Rascals," if you can stand it.

Don't worry Borticus, Captain Kurland is my favorite STO character. Some people just got freaked out from "Boldly They Rode..." when he pops up about 15 times and says "Kurland here!" You did great voice overs. In fact, every time I see you pop up in a heated thread on the forums it is as if I can hear Kurland saying "Now, was there something you wanted to add to this discussion?"

Yeah, compared to some of the overblown, overdramatic voiceovers, Kurland sounds much more normal. Actually--and I am not kidding--Kurland sounds more real than Denise Crosby, who IMO was not on top of her game on her STO works (and actually gets worse each time).

I think we can excuse him for that, given that he was in the body of a 12-year-old kid.
Your father was captain of a starship for twelve minutes. He saved 800 lives, including your mother's, and yours.

I would not say that excuses the officers who were in their proper adult forms, who allowed a Galaxy-class ship to be taken by the Ferengi, though. Surely Picard should have trained his officers and held them to a higher standard than that?

6. Slamek - that whole turncoat thing angered me, especially when I really wanted to help the poor guy
This is why in my post after 5 attempts to assasinate toby khev i decided to use the last one on slamek.
I dont mind he is a droll , pessimistic , whiney loser who generally is annoying with
Its to bright here
Ive lost everything
etc etc and yes etc
But where he earned my bullet was after i save his TRIBBLE at the collisieum he turns traitor on me when he had the chance to be beamed to safety aswell.
I hope at some point they make a mission where i can finally put a hole between those pointy ears of his .....he deserves far worse but a bullet to the head would suffice my dislike of the traitor.
Talk about biting the hand that feeds after you heal him up in the desert and all he turns traitor
