How many think that after what happened to Gaius in "Uneasy Allies", that Centurion who Geordi got stranded with on Galorndan core could be his replacement?

You mean like Spock, Picard, Data, Geordi La Forge, Will Riker, Kes, Chakotay, Seven of Nine, and Tom Paris were replaced when they were manipulated by outside influences? Even Martok wasn't especially tarnished after his troubles.

I think Gaius is going to get some personal leave (which he'll likely decline), some mandated appointments with a counselor, and be back on duty on the Lleiset concocting scenarios regarding the Iconians and Heralds before long.

You're mental. Gaius had on of the best. I loved hearing him go on about his scenarios in Received Pronunciation (his particular variation on the Queens English, I think).

Before you go throwing around TRIBBLE like that, remember two words....

    Kurland..

    Here.

    Here.

Many of my friends are British, so I take their impressions of the Voice Actor more seriously than Americans.

However, I was wrong: Kurland Here is the worstest voice actor, and Koren is bad too.

    You mean Bochra?

It would be nice to see him make an appearance in STO. John Snyder might be interested in replaying the role as he appeared several other times in Star Trek.

As to Gaius' "King's English" accent, I have no problems with it. Goodness knows Star Trek featured mostly Americans, it is good to see some variety in pronunciations.

I also have British friends. Never heard any complaints about Gains.

Also: Ooohhh...forgot Loren. Need to remember her. Also Hadron. And Farek.

I liked Centurion Bochra; I would like to see/hear him in STO these decades after Geordi first opened his eyes to a wider reality that didn't quite line up with what the fascist police state the RSE had become had been indoctrinating him with. It could have gone either way after that, but I strongly suspect that he would not be one of the goosestepping crowd in 2409/2410, and would instead have more likely been one of the military personnel who helped to establish the Republic.

take it from someone who's British. . .

We do not sound like him and tbh I've yet to hear an American Voice Artist sound British without sounding awful.

That would be very, very neat to see. Most of the guest actors are, naturally, on the Federation side or at least heavily connected to the Federation storyline. Having someone like Bochra come in would be pretty nice. For sure, he'd have a decently high position in the RRF - maybe one of Kererek's staff.

Yeah and unless he was just a completely inept officer, I'd think he be in a higher ranking position than Gaius...

That would be an interesting idea, I liked gaius, I admit even as a murikan I didnt like his badly forced accent but he's no farek...or koren... or kurland....

Id rather see him return but given the bs move regarding voice actors....

While these things are always opinion based, and you are welcome to yours, I always thought his VA was quite excellent.

    Quoted for this.

As another British person, the vast majority of us really don't sound like him. Okay some of the rich/upperclass people may sound like him but not the vast majority of us. (Its kinda funny actually. Many Brits would call rich people/people who sound like him as snobs and view 'em with disdain.)

Ditto on American vice artists trying to sound British.

I think that was part of the point with Gaius. He's supposed to present himself as a know-it-all, holier-than-thou officer who has apparently thought of every possible security scenario 'cause he feels he's the best at his job.

That's just my opinion, though. I felt the players were supposed to have a collective "who made this guy king of everything?" moment.

I agree that in the current Fed-KDF duality, yes he would be more likely to be Fed allied. However, I see him more as a Romulan purist (true Romulan Faction). Certainly NOT a Tal Shiar shill, but I could also see him being part of the non-Tal Shiar Romulan Navy faction that currently supports Sela.

I also agree that he would not remain a Centurion for 30+ years. By now, he should be either a Subcommander or Commander. If part of Kererek's staff, he should play a role similar to Akira Sulu or Samuel Winters on ESD. However, I would rather see him in command of his own ship (preferably a D'D) and someone whom ALL players enteract with.

Put him in a D'khellra :D They can say he was involved in the designing the successor to the D'deridex, or something to that effect.
