I already made a bug report or 4 about this, I am so tired that when I get into another map, my nose is forced up the TRIBBLE of my ships.
Every time I have to cycle out.
Please fix it so that it was like afore: it kept the distance I once set, and never reverted back to max zoomed in.
I believe Sector Space size was decreased - it used to be around 50/55 and now it is 35 to make it seem larger. I believe the difference in scale between exterior and interior is what is causing the camera zoom. That would be my guess, anyway.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.
I have almost the exact opposite problem - I like to be zoomed in as close as possible to my ship, but since the update the game has decided that my default is to be zoomed all the way out, hence every time I enter sector space I have to manually zoom all the way back in.
