please stop the doff ui window from changing the throttle

it would be nice if the doff window no longer changed the throttle

the stopping is manageable, but at odd times when I close the window it maxes the throttle

both are a little annoying, the latter more so

    There is an option "Keep moving during contact dialogs" under options>controls. Should help you.

    I saw a button in the options menu labelled something along the lines of "set throttle to stop on boff pop-up"

    Maybe that was the description?

    Any way I never messed with it. Maybe it will work with the doff ui also.

    Another one of those "set it and forget it" options that I did just that. Was wondering why my DRs were having this happen...

    Glad I could help.

    But no idea about your replicator and doff UI problem. I tried a few things to reproduce this, but the UI does not close for me. Maybe I activated another option I do not remember...

    The recycle window closing the window is because they are both the same category of windows, vendor windows or something like that, you can only have one of each open, iirc.

    I think I've had the same problem ryugasirius mentioned:

    You open up a doff mission to see what it needs, find that you need to replicate something for it. While you open the replication menu and replicate the item, the doff mission window closes and you're back at the list of doff departments. You have to go back to whichever department the mission was in, and -- if it didn't magically disappear in the meantime (another occurrence that isn't exactly a joy to deal with) -- choose the mission again, and now fill it with what it needed and start it. Has happened to me many, many, many, many, many times and continues to.

    Ah you are right, I found one assignment which reset. Its a really strange problem, the same assignment was not reset when I tried it a second or third time, but on the fourth. I guess just a bugfix could help to solve that... but the doff UI is not a favourite part of the developers :/

    This is not a DOff UI issue, it's a general UI issue. As someone already said, you can only have one of certain types of windows.

    If you have the Replicator open, you can't have a Contact window open at the same time.

    A couple of other UI things i've noticed that came with season 10.

    (Noticed mainly on ground)

    1. Open you're inventory and have either the bank or r&d tabs selected and you cannot move you're character until closed.

    2. Open friends list same thing cannot move until closed.

    3. In Voth and Kobali Battle zone anytime you use a transporter the select away team button pops up. (I haven't been to New Romulus for a while but i guess its the same here)

    4. Complete a Episode on Kobali Prime and before the cut scene starts you get the select you're away team pop up.

    I haven't changed any settings before S10 they are all set as before. i had none of these things occur before.

    the one i really want to know how to get rid of if possible is how to stop the select you're away team window popping up. Getting very tedious when doing Voth and Kobali.

    Yeah, this might be right. But it does not explain why it happens for some assignments and for others not. And why it does not always happen at the same assignment.

    We noticed today that this got fixed again (but we were teamed, so maybe its still not working if you are alone)

    I've seen that when in the DOFF assignment window and if you select department heads and a department, realize you need something and open the replicator, the DOFF window resorts back to the current map list. Same if you're at a Nebula or other special doff mission window and open the replicator.

    My old characters had this set. But I set it so long ago I had forgotten where it was when I made my recruits. Now they won't have to come to full stop to talk to people now. :)

    Lifetime no longer gives a forum title. That should be updated on the Lifetime page that mentions what you get. PMing the CSR doesn't work neither.
