    You get updates from Sela upon completion of the various tiers, kind of like those cutscenes from Nelin Exil in the Dyson rep only cheaper ... much cheaper.

    I am not always fond of Denise Crosby's VO acting in this game but it would've been nice to at least have those sequences voiced by her for completion's sake.

    You need to be on New Roumulus to use it.

    Thanks, I was wondering how it worked. So far I only got Tier 1. Cause I wanted to see if it was worth doing. After I saw it, I was like ok, keep in bank until I get that far into the game. So I won't ruin the story.

    You do not need to be on New Romulus to use it. That's utter bull****. In space or on ground, hit the "P" key for your list of abilities. The recorder should be there. Drag it to your ability tray and hit it.

    i find by just opening up the inventory and right clicking it, i can choose to hear the 3 tiers of messages i have so far from sela as well as the choice of hearing spocks sector border quotes anywhere and anywhen i choose..

    Oh ok, well mine didn't work. Must be due to I'm not lv 60 yet. Or done the missions of her. Since I still in the Delta Rising missions.

    I decided to try it again once I get to her part of the story.

    No you don't. I've used mine everywhere from sector space to Kobali Prime.

    To use it:
    1) Right click on it in your inventory.
    2) Click on "use". (I think it was use, not in game atm, can't check.)
