this special console attack, cascade resonance (from the aquatic carrier)

it works with all the xindi pets now? (all 3 types)

it is specifically listed on the narcine aquatic frigates, I haven't seen the insectoid or primate carrier pets ingame to check

I figure it must, it's part of a console set, doesn't make sense to have a dead console in the two new ships

What do you mean "works with?" Are you asking if it bounces off the new pets too? If so then yes, that pulse will bounce off ANY ship it hits and make a new one. If you're asking if the new Xindi pets use the pulse themselves, then no. Only the Aquatic frigates can activate it themselves.

ah, when you click the console button on the narcine with the frigs the carrier and the pets all fire it off at the same time. it's not just the carrier pulse bouncing off the pets, though that could be happening too

EDIT: this mechanic made it a bit more useful because the narcine is a little bit squishy, getting close to enemies can be dicey at times, I would certainly think so with the iconians

I haven't really seen the pets fire it off on their own ... but I haven't been looking for that either, I didn't imagine that's how it works

Hmm, are you sure that they fire it off at the same time and not they're really close so it just bounces off really quick? I almost never use the pulse so its easy to notice when my pets use it.

Also, squishy? What sort of set up do you have because I just started using this ship recently and im usually the only one to not die fighting Iconians.
