I post a bit, some of it pretty negative but some positive things should be mentioned as well, I’ll do my best not to make it too backhanded

the big one is my quickbars. the skills have been remarkably sticky lately, I can’t begin to tell you how cool that is after them resetting for years and years and years.

the new and more challenging mobs are welcome, pve que and pve episodes

the pilot ships are decent looking. visuals, stats, traits, consoles, etc. they are interesting, more so than the command ships (however, I think many people are holding out on buying until the lag improves)

the map change has been difficult to adjust to, some things are for the worse, but it’s a daring move to change the map. it seems like a serious attempt at a game improvement, that’s cool.

I’m glad r&d boffs made another appearance (vaadwaur lockbox), they are in demand still, but it helped

new bridge officer abilities are neat even though they are in way too short supply (not cool) and some are bugged (more testing please) it’s still really neat to see, even if it’s rough on alts

expanding the trees also neat, doesn’t have to happen every time mind you (also, more testing please)

the delta thing was a great idea, though it might be nice if there was a little more space between events, regardless though, nice idea

the poster art, the made up war/recruiting posters on the loading pages, they are a really nice creative touch

the war torn Q’nos map for the ground pve que was very nicely done, it fit right in and looked great too. usually I get pretty irritated about this constant map/zone reuse (make something new sometime) but this one was pretty cool

there’s other things probably, but this is what just comes to mind

Agree with most, but I don't really like the war posters. Doesn't seem trek to me, but thats a minor complaint, and I can live with the posters. Id just rather see more screencap contests for loading pages.

    Things I think Cryptic deserves credit for;
The Boff revamp, I was no looking forward to this in announcment, but I was completely wrong. Its way better, and more convienient.

The attention they've given to science as of late.

Sector space (and that they included our planetary system around Sol (little details like that are appreciated, we even spoke to Tacofangs about this in another thread a while back, and I was very pleased they did something for us, thanks art team)

The new music that plays in sector space, I love it.

The Featured Episodes and including more and more trek actors as they go, I think its great we get to see these people eprise their trek roles for a video game, really cool.
Lends itself to the games authenticity.

There's more but I'm at work, so ill add anything else I can think of later.

The new content/changes are really good (except for the Doff XP nerfbat), that isn't the issue here. The issue is the insane lag and time it takes Cryptic to fix it. I love the new stuff in the game and the new space map is amazing and will be perfect once the bugs are fixed around it.

And yes, I'm already looking forward to the summer event, Risa is my favourite event! :)

holiday events, yeah I forgot to mention that, the xmas one was great

I especially liked the alt-friendly mechanic, price discounts after one char has gone the distance

I will give them credit for Delta Recruits (having a blast with that), and with the Gateway to Gre'thor and Brotherhood of the Sword PvE's. Those are incredibly fun to play.

Thats it for new stuff anyway. Not going to describe all that I like about the game in one post. It should say enough that I'm still here after 3 years of playing.
