My Predictions for the Iconian War

Before we begin lets look at what we know. So far we have stopped the Iconians at New Romulus and are holding our own on Qonos. Earth so far has seen zero fighting. The Preserver Archives are eliminated because they may have contained info on the Iconians and their Heralds. Plus we shut out the Solonae Fleet in Delta Flight which are the Iconian's scientists so any Preserver info is useless to them regardless if they decided to steal it.

So my prediction is that the Iconians will be targeting the Breen, hard. Since during the Breen Arc they could have taken information from the archives they have discovered during their siege of Defera and thus the only link to Iconians we have in the "known" universe. So before anyone can reach out to the Breen for information, they will strike because the Federation, Klingons and Romulans have softened them up greatly and they may have info the Iconians need.

Sela I think will contact the Dominon and they will give the collective middle finger to us since we humiliated them not once, but twice and they have their own vast territory to shore up. While the Tal Shiar is working with the Elachi to go after vulnerable planets and start to occupy territory all the while the Elachi are trying to get the Solonae a place to operate.

So the Elachi I think will try and take over the Subspace tunnels in the Delta Quadrant and convert them into pockets of normal subspace for the Solonae to live in. In order to do that the Turei will have to be handled and thus the Voth get suckered in since they are allies now despite abandoning them to the Vaadwaur.

The Vaadwaur I also believe will make an appearance and start to revive those stasis pods on Kobali Prime and start making attacks against their former "puppet" masters. That Vaadwaur Commander doesn't strike me as someone who likes to be manhandled.

The FeK'iri is the final straw and that is where Miral's "destiny" comes in. Fighting against the Iconians or Heralds doesn't strike me as the "big savior moment" for her, to me I think the Feks will be included in this some how with the Iconians. Just a feeling.

As for stuff I want to see:

The Deferi should be turned servitors and we fight them, you know make them dark scary and evil looking. Their sense of "Balance" is so radical that the Iconians could convince or brainwash them into thinking the Iconians provide the Universe balance.

The Remans get a bigger role with Obsiek basically telling us "i told you so"

The Alliance will be losing and about to be defeated only to be saved at the last minute by the Dominion who will become the next "villain". That will last until they are stopped. But the Borg will then reenter the picture with a new rise to power after spending a few years figuring out how to assimilate Iconian tech.

At that point the license will be up and anything further will be dependant upon that.

If I remember correctly, the Breen didn't actually take anything from the archives. As soon as the Preserver computer told Thot Whatshisface that they didn't have any information about weapons, the Breen tried to destroy the Archives instead. So yeah, the Breen probably aren't going to be involved in any way, unfortunately....

I think we will ultimately travel back in time and fight the iconians in the past and maybe witness the bombardment of Dewa III, which will lead to the dewans extinsion several thousand years later when they will try to connected the Gate to geothermal power source.
(Anyone remember the ancient recording on New Romulus, showing a iconian and some dewans?)

there is a difference between "hold our own" and the iconians hold their own forces back on purpose. if they really wanted to, they could quite possibly overrun qo'nos without much issue if their numbers were anything to go by... you do not know the situation make sense of an assurance.

why attack the breen for? what purpose is there that would worry the iconians so much? the only time the breen had any contact with the preservers was through one of their generals who ended up dead not long afterwards. i doubt the breen have as much info as you may claim on the situation, if there were to be an attack on the breen it would be strictly to knock them out of the war before they can get into it. that would be the only real logic purpose.

thats speculation without proper context to back it up if you are referring to the t3 iconian text thing. and as for the elachi, their main purpose is to be like the jem'hadar are, to be quick replaceable soldiers by using other people from other races to fuel their numbers.. their purpose is now revealed they are not the main thrust of the attack i would of thought they were, but rather reserve line troops, im guessing the elachi dont have the numbers they once did because of republic sabotage to one of their bases and destruction of another one after the dq "storyline".

Elachi are only interested in picking up their numbers and feeding from their victims. i have not seen any sign that the elachi have as much free will as it appears, nor does underspace grant any sort of advantage when the gateways are a lot more effective. with the turei, they have effectively ended their friendship with the voth when they failed to turn up and defend the tueri homeworld. its unknown what has happened to the voth though.

if you had forgotten i will remind you, that the kobali have invited other races to claim their dead as the whole conflict on kobali prime was because of the rebirth ceremony to begin with when the kobali were converting vaadwuar into kobali. it ended when keten was tracked down and stopped and because the kobali realized their efforts to hide their rebirth is ultimately the problem for them to begin with. these vaadwuar in these pods are already dead, long dead... not sure how you can find a story in their unless it becomes star zombie online following on from star turok online.

"You will follow in my footsteps before I have made them."
"The kuvah'magh is younger than old age and stronger than sickness."
"You will find me after two warring houses make peace."
"The kuvah'magh will be descended from a noble house."

as with any scripture like this, it can be interprited a number way of ways to fit a situation, there is nothing in that about fighting fek... whatever they are called.

however you could claim that the first one, the know the world one, could mean that miral still has not found her purpose and now the klingons who her for who she is, it could be claimed at this point in time that this part in the prophecy has been completed. the same with the second part about footsteps. the klingons are going to war before miral can take on the conflict as well, the klingons knew her footsteps before she made them, perhaps during the iconian war? the third propecy is key i think to miral. the fourth is likely after the war the klingons and starfleet end their conflict for good and make peace for good. the noble house prophecy could be starfleet itself or another "house".. not sure on that one.

my point is that miral has her own destiny and the klingons may know what her path is before she has done it herself.

the iconians can only convert subjects that show signs that they can be controlled, but "dangerous" enough to be useful to them. the deferi have been ravaged from a borg attack on their homeworld, right now there isnt much of anything of the deferi to worry the iconians at this point, let alone enough of them to convert even if the chance was presented.

i am still waiting on cryptic to bring obisek back into the picture, i mean after all it is obisek who warned the quadrant of the iconians before anything really strange happened. and he should of had a hand in how we fight the iconians. he should of been made a wartime leader, he said it himself to d'tan, he is a soldier.

Anyone remember the pic of the borg cube at the wormhole apature? perhaps an anti iconian deal is made between the allies, the dominion and the borg where allies need reinforcements from the dominion - with a promise for a way to make their jem'hadar stronger - by telling the borg we have a way to give them infinate grown drones if they join and just stop assimilating planets.

Fallout? there is none without survival.

The atmosphere as far as story is concerned is quiet cool at the moment and so are the new PvE maps.

I hope cryptic don’t rush this thingy but thrives upon it for some time longer.

There's an Iconian war going on?! You could have fooled me! I had been really been looking forward to this 'Reapers-style' Mother of all Wars kinda conflict. Instead we got gga, with foes that can be ignored almost completely.

If it weren't for those (cool) 60-ties style war posters, I would, for the most part, not occassionally be reminded we're at war.

We go back in time, transport the entire iconian population to the present, and thus prevent them from turning vengeful.
Then we marry one of those sexxxxxy iconian chicks.

well I got the feeling that all of these were "made" during fed-klingon war arc at the point when bwaht or whatever his name was captured miral and got back in time - imo it was pretty clearly said there that all these "you will know me before I know the world" and "you will follow my footsteps before I made them" along with remark to the sickness was refering to her going long way back into the time to fix sth they screwed during attempts of genetically upgrade of klingon race - but maybe its just me or sth.... :P

[when to warring houses makes peace - federation and klingon empire have just made alliance before sto plotline and also remember that miral is daughter of human male and klingon female..... :P]

dont forget, it might not be 2 sided war, there might be 3rd side, very dangerous.
think of "The Good, Bad, and the ugly"

alliances vs iconians vs borgs, or voth who might be the ones who hate iconains the most.
think of countless thousand years so ancient that they fought while we were cavemen.

like ancient aliens who visited earth.

Hear this ... What about making the Iconians responsible for the extinction of the dinosaurs on Earth, as well as it seems they are behind the destruction of New Romulus? Is it possible to expand on this idea?
If I remember well, a race of evolved Allosaurus or something like that were able to create a starship and get to the Delta Quadrant ... what if they were the survivors of this Hobus-like catastrophe on Earth, just like the Romulans?
Wouldn't be the first time they interphere with "Earthlings" ... Elachi with the Enterprise NX, Solanae with Picard's Enterprise.
And we might even have the Voth as playable race lol
