Any chance that Cryptic can get permission to feature the USS Archer class into STO?

Since both STO and Renegades are in the near-same timeline (within around 30 years) AND in Prime Trek, it would be "canon".

That's not how "canon" works. Only if CBS would acquire Star Trek Renegades (which is an independent production) and show it on TV it would become canon. Right now it's just fan fiction, basically, and I think Cryptic never wants to go through the legal hassle of acquiring fan concepts any more.

And isn't that just a Nova Class?

^ Memory Alpha.org is not canon. It's a open wiki with arbitrary rules. Only what can be cited from an episode is. ^
"No. Men do not roar. Women roar. Then they hurl heavy objects... and claw at you." -Worf, son of Mogh
"A filthy, mangy beast, but in its bony breast beat the heart of a warrior" - "faithful" (...) "but ever-ready to follow the call of the wild." - Martok, about a Targ

Renegades is not canon. It is not sanctioned by CBS. It is simply a fan-made kickstarter project. Plus it is only set 10 years after Voyager, not 30.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

you would still need for permission from both the creator of that ship design, the renegades team and cbs, since cbs has not answered the renegade fan mad production for its canon status as tim russ is expecting. yeah, no chance until cbs says "no" and thats the end of this conversation. if they say "yes", there is a chance this ship would be added at some point. but its likely to never get answered...
    T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW.
Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.

I hope renegades does well, they have sufficient star power they just need good story writers and CGI.

Looks like a Nova with Sovereign nacelles.

Or a Presidio, if you're drunk and take your glasses off.

it ressemble the vanilla Nova/Rhode Island class to much to be it's T6 counterpart IMO.

My Zen is already saved though for the Tahoe class IF Cryptic can make this hotness the T6 Nova.

This ship was designated the 'Tahoe' Class, It was designed by John Eaves.
