I don't think the game is bleeding players, but sometimes when my cat scratches me I bleed. So since I am a player of this game(and others), that makes me a bleeding player. Sometimes, anyway.

You say that for your cat when it scratches you on the rare occasion...

    But...

What if your cat has some sort of traumatic event that sends it permanently over the edge and it just simply starts to psychotically attacking you repeatedly and wont stop? Days, weeks, months go by and your cat simply has still lost it and is simply trying to kill you?

They make a wondrous mess of things. Brave amateurs, they do their part.

So many walls of text talking about the same thing over, and over, and over again. I have become numb to these topics. I need to just go and buy more zen and play the game, not the forums.

    Yep, my tentative future plans:

    - buy Zen at next 15% off sale.

    - buy pilot bundle (probably the super bundle) when it goes on sale

    - you don't like receiving less dil from farming
This is something I do not get: some folks out there have Dil beyond numbers, RAW Dil, in amouts that it would take a fully build-out account would need a near decade to refine it.
Some of these folks said something similar, it's a shame they turn down Dil income, which makes me think: "Lad, have you forgotten you can only refine 8k a day?"

    Strange times.

    And your point here is?

Comparing a pet, however tangentially, to a not very good video game makes me gravely concerned about you. Seriously. Not kidding. Does STO have so much of a grip on you something like this seems sensible?

    Unless...

You're trolling. In which case nevermind.

Just because you can only refine 8k a day, does not mean it should take a day to earn 8k...

Take a day to get 8k dil. Hell I'd love to see that. But then dil is just a TRIBBLE away now. That's basically all you have to do to get dil, TRIBBLE, oops theres some dil.

Go back 2 years ago, even 3. When your daily dil farm consisted of mining, doffing, defara and STFs. And Defara, yeah you only got the dil reward once per day.

I figure I'll eventually start a rotating schedule on this. As it is right now on my DR, I could play a different toons for two weeks, not doff on it, and well, yeah have to farm up those numbers again in a couple weeks.

For those of us that are still around from that time. Dil is precious to us. We use to have to work for it.

The problem now is the dil farmers. With the daily refine across multiple characters. They have successfuly devalued dil and the effect, well just look at the dil exchange.

I think the best way to treat bleeding players is highly depended on the nature of the wound, and I would really suggest asking a real doctor or nurse.

If it's a small wound, a band-aid will probably do.

Generally, cleaning and disinfecting a bleeding wound is a good idea, particularly if it was caused by an animal - even if it's a domesticated animal like a cat. Also generally make sure your tetanus inoculation is still effective. (And if you don't have one, get one!)

While the OP's tone leaves a lot to be desired, I think it is pretty obvious the game is in a bad way. Sure they continue to turn out a mission or two here and there along with a grind-fest of reputation stuff, but it really is just the least amount of effort a company could put into a game. The game is riddled with bugs, more than I've ever seen in a game, and the lag is inexcusable as well. Yet instead of devoting ALL of their resources to making a pleasant experience for paying customers, they just churn out more ships and lockboxes.

I hate to say it, as I have an LTS, but I don't see this game lasting a whole lot longer. If it does, it will be pure maintenance mode.

What you are asking for is a maintenance mode. If they just flat out stop making new content and only work on fixes that is a maintenance mode.

    Bleeding players?

That doesnt sound healthy at all
    My advice is as follows.

    1 ) Asses the situation

2 ) Can a simple band aid fix the problem or problems?

3 ) Is the damage far worse then what it first appeared ?

4 ) Can the problem wait till a later date?

    If you answer questions 2-4

    NO

    Yes

    No

Then i suggest you seek medical attention right away i dont think the cryptic developers can help a bleeding player unless they are RNs or registered EMTs.

Even then if your bleeding i dont think they can help you but an ER room can they has doctors :)

In the event one cannot stop the bleeding, report immediately to the Medical Frigate. There, the TwoOneBee medical droids will probably suggest a treatment with bacta and then...

    Whoops. Wrong game.

I was pretty critical of DR because of the incredibly expensive upgrade system. But they added tech upgrade drops to STFs which reduced the ridiculous grind somewhat. Yes, alts have too much of a hurdle to bother with now, but the game is not bad overall.
