ESCAPE consoles... tons there of.. not a problem, can work around that, we all got them.. its a fact of life in sto pvp now.. no point fighting it.. IT ONLY drags out matches, it ONLY really gives that 10% chance that the guy can really get out of jail with it VS a directed team...
SO we all go into the match a bit longer because of the b.s. escapes consoles... so be it, they are in the game, they are not leaving, not getting nerfs, done deal, gotta just deal, cool with it, cool ..

there is no dealing with it.... only just acceptance that pvp in sto really has turned into rng for kills..
and cryptic has never been one to TOTALLY remove a ability before because of a couple complaints... so my hopes for seeing the end of "immunities" is done and done

its cool, had my premades, had my epic matchs, had my pugs, had my fun, if this is the end? its cool
at this point, I have frozen/stopped work on all pvp builds/money, DONE - finished, not flying,:) lags to bad, meta is horrible for an honest match...
I now am going 99% (1% to just keep dil running on my pvp klink) PVE BABY!! ALWAYS wanted to fly the nova, got a wells/vestas... SO paying for the nova was a joke... but I always LOVED that ship, looks great, I look at it and say "that's star trek" .. SO im a nova tac fed build from here on out for pve cause honestly... I don't see how we can get past the immunity b.s.
everything else before, AND I DO MEAN EVERTHING, lol could be seen as getting a nerf at least some day,, part gens, torps, traits, etc ALL of it, ANY of it, but the immunity direction they are going now???
ya, there is no nerf to that, there is NO LEVEL that it can go down to that doesn't connect the dots for heals at this point, its either its GONE or its HERE for good..

What about some other elements one might find in PvP? Trash talk? Heh, PvE is full of it...folks mocking the performance of others, folks saying people are cheating...it's a trip...PvE's like Ker'rat chat.
To do the high end DPS, folks need teamwork - they need comms.
Don't think about the mediocre stuff...folks doing 15-20k..30k...not even 50k.
High end competitive PvE...folks doing 75-120k+ DPS. Very few are.
An opportunity to show some domination...to have some form of competition left in the game (cause PvP...er...every 3 months or so it's going to keep on getting worse as it has been).
Taking the knowledge, skills, and the ability to adapt over the years...and...going high end competitive PvE.
You know what's funny ? So far , AFAIK , only one pug pilot ship has been detected in an arena probably because escorts lag a lot and cannons do not fire almost at all , while other ships seem to do fine or almost fine.
Virusdancer, some space PvE is very laggy now and that lag is frustrating, which is why I am not bothering with it .
Ironically, PvP maps are far less laggy ( except for Solar Wind, which is still gold in comparison with ISA ) that and the ground maps .

So, we have almost 60 established players still pvping. Let's extrapolate a maximum of 100/150 players to cover all the time zones and the days with more matches on than usual. That's all guys :P

PvP was the one redeeming thing in this game, even through DR's mega-changes. We adapted. Server/Instance performance is hindering that. The chain immunities has me reduced to dil farming.... and if I wanted to farm anything, I might as well play farmville, because that doesn't lag....

I am not pvping a lot right now since I am in farming mode however , a few days ago my friend 37JKSLDC literally begged me to qeue up my healer to start the arena match and, on the other side, there was a full pre-made team of Sad Pandas, a " depressed " :P pre-made team of sci on temporal science vessels with epic gear and an established combat plan, from what I could gather :rolleyes:
It was a tough, challenging and fun match.
I have adapted one of my science toons to fly the nova class exclusively. It's a very appealing, its capabilities have definitely grown on me. The Rhode Island is also too beautiful to pass up. It now rocks t5u status, fleet version, awesome consoles and partigen, and with the right team does an incredible amount of damage. Its speed pleasantly surprised me when I tried it out the first time, it won't compete with the temporal science vessel of course but wow it's fast.
Replace "Nova" with "Intrepid" and your post would work for me as well lol.
