Ultra Rare Spiral Wave Disruptor Inquiry

Has anyone that owns a Galor gotten their SWDs to Ultra Rare, cause I was wondering what mod do they get... [CrtX] :confused: I know Epic is [Acc/Dmg].

The first Belfast was commanded by Captain Ve'Kal Shon until its destruction in 2409. A new ship was commissioned bearing the same name and registry as special dispensation to then newly promoted Captain Edward XIII for his pivotal role during the renewed Dominion War.

    If I remember correctly from my tribble testing (wasn't about to try this on holodeck) the UR mod they get is random. and yes the the Epic one is fixed.

    Poodoo. Was hoping Ultra Rare was a fixed mod as well.

    Nope.. it's not random.. the UR mod for the SWDs is [CritX].

    I have 3 of 6 at UR and ... maybe it's just a perception but ... I am bringing the pain with them.

    Have fun upgrading them :)

    Are you using them in your Galor or other Lockbox ship, or on a FED ship :confused: Just curious. There are no Ultra Rare Phaser Beam Array [Acc]x2 [Dmg]x2 or Epic Phaser Beam Array [Ac/Dm] [Acc]x2 [Dmg]x2 in the exchange. So I might have to settle for SWDs. Its just that... call me a stickler for canon but it just doesn't feel right running disruptors on a FED ship is all.

    I use an Exceslior exclusively and the beam color is really close. Go for it because ... you can :P

    DMG mod isn't that popular, players that want to do as much damage as they can go for the Crt mods.

    No, they would be [Acc]x2 [Ac/Dm] [CrtX] [Dmg]x2 at Epic, at Ultra Rare they would be [Acc]x2 [CrtX] [Dmg]x2

    I am unsure of the final order that the mods would actually be listed at the Epic level as I have not taken my SWDs to Epic.

    Spiral Wave Disruptor Mk XIV [Ac/Dm] [Acc]x2 [CrtX] [Dmg]x2

    And is it just me or does the Spiral Wave Disruptor proc much more frequently than phasers or disruptors. Not complaining at all. Its great with Rapid Fire Missiles cause every second your firing a missile so when the phaser procs you are guaranteed 4-5 missiles hitting all hull :)

    That's been my impression. I can't back it up with data at all ... it's just a feeling.

    And I *still* think the RFML is underrated for what it can do. It's not uber in any sense of the word ... but it's fun. Torp Spread with it is awesome looking though :D

    Agreed. And with the new Xindi DOffs that garanteee AoE damage it will look even more cool. :D
