Class-specific Ship Packs?

Why isn't there a class-specific bundle for the Command Cruisers and Piloting ships? Like a bundle where I can get specifically the Tactical, Science, or Engineer varients from all 3 factions of the ships in a separate bundle? After all, I can only fly ONE ship at a time and maybe I don't care for the consoles and just want that ship in particular for all the factions. I HATE there's only a bundle for a specific faction or buy all ships pack.

    Because it would likely predominantly amount to most players just buying whatever had the most tactical consoles.

    At least that is what I would expect to see.

    it's an interesting idea, worth a think

    it sounds born of the systems and ethics in other games though

    but

    I don't think it would work well here

    design time is somewhat expensive, and if anything, they are bottom line conscious (a kind way of saying cheap as hell) (I don't know if it's cryptic or their bosses, but someone is)

    and, we kind of have it already. escorts, cruisers, and science vessels

    and the "hybrids" and offshoots. dread cruisers, raiders, carriers, flight deck cruisers/carriers, battle cruisers, destroyers, warbirds/birdOfPrey, raptors, warbird battle cruisers, etc etc etc

    Well I can see that applying to the Command Cruisers, but considering the new Piloting ships ALL have 5 Tac consoles, that wouldn't be the case.

    My issue is that if you buy just 1 ship, you can't ever buy the full bundle anymore. Just doesn't seem fair to players who want something specific instead of having to go out of there way to buy ships individually or all of them.
