rumormill discussing the 12hr doff missions being nerfed tomorrow

maybe

hard to tell, with rumor and misinformation

but it's being discussed now, some people are saying that the ax falls on the "treasure" doff missions that pay bonus xp

perhaps it's time to mothball the alts,

    Because the giant thread where people have been discussing it for a week was not good enough for you? :)
    STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

    None of you did much reading here: he was specifically asking whether doff XP will be nerfed *tomorrow* already. (We were discussing it on 10k, where I take it he/she was present too).

    Sorry, but I do not see "tomorrow" as being the subject of the sentence or paragraph - nor do I see it as being a question in any way. In fact most of it comes off as a direct statement ending with a doom sentence about how it is time to stop using alts.

    technically, it's a specific topic: rumor, tomorrow

    the megafantastic-humunogo doff thread is a thing of beauty, it dances on the thread rails like it's not even on them, I sacrificed a goat to that thread, under mooonlight even

    Well, I can give you recommendations about any of the 13 games I am currently playing or direct you to some Google searches showing you hundreds of other MMOs out there to choose from.

    change is the only constant in mmo

    we think it's our sandbox, but it's not

    I know that, it's just that this (possible/probable) change hit me right in the center of my gameplay

    What PvP? PvP has been dead since DR launched last October. I guess you can't beat a dead horse enough times :P

    We know it's coming, it's on tribble.

    The question is whether it goes live tomorrow or they hold off a bit longer; some of the feedback in the above thread is that the change has a heavy impact on non-12hr missions as well.

    I know Cryptic's devs don't have a great rep for listening to tribble feedback but there's always a first time...:D
