THE ICONIAN WAR! And the summer event?

So I'm certain were still gonna have a Summer event, but is there gonna be an explanation for why were having one in the biggest galactic war EVER!? I mean, we could just be chillen on Risa, then an Iconian Dreadnought comes through a Starga-I mean Gateway, and use it's super laser to blow up the planet! Unless the war is gonna be wrapped in a single episode just before it happens, Q would probably have to step in and freeze the Iconians or something.

    Which War ?? I'm chillin on Kobali Prime !? Just going to change Planets within the next ~2 months ...
    Patch Notes : Resolved an Issue, where people would accidently experience Fun.

    I kind of see a "take a break from the war" promotion for it.

    I would be cool if either the Heralds attacked Risa towards the end of the event or we get a message at some point calling us back to our ships for an important mission.

    Meh, during the event there are always a bunch of player ships in orbit of Risa. They would kill it. :cool:

    all hail ba'a.. i mean the ori.. no i mean the reape.. whatever :P.


    even in war there needs to be a place to cycle people off the front line for a bit of rest before throwing them back into it. obvously the risa event will need to have a more militaristic feel to it because of the iconian/herald gateways that can dump troops anywhere..

    The Ghostbusters taking down Zuul and the StayPuffed Marshmellow Man, was more of a war then what we got with the Iconians, just saying,

    Surfs Up, Cowabanga, Chevy Nova?

    We're not done with the war. We just stopped them from bringing the Solanae into our space.

    I foresee a time-travel mission in which we rescue the Preservers before the Heralds destroy the Archive.

    There was still plenty of room for "fun" during the dominion war (see. DS9.) Risa is just going to have a shadow forced in behind the usual games (though hopefully cryptic tries a bit harder than that).

    Last year when we had to deal with the Undine, did we have anything with regards to the event? No.

    It's basically going to just be something unrelated to what's happening. Would make for a interesting foundry mission though!

    ... right now we're either in a war or in a 'pause', I'm not sure which ... , since I'm not grinding the grind for the marks that I'm supposed to be grinding ...
