They did many things, but they didnt introduced lag. And lag is most likely why you died while using R&R.

I still like to blame the 2 people still doing 1vs1 pvp in this game, but you might be right.

It's not lag. At least not in my case I've had this happen a few times as well. Not even at the start or beginning but mid rock and roll when my guardian was still upside down I died. Same for my narcine and a couple times in my phantom or defiant

So it's not just me. I do understand it's not the forumPVP people, but it's a bit strange we die midR&R.

A DoT effect?

If your hull is already on fire and the damage control teams are screaming as they burn, RnR might only be shielding you from new incoming damage not the dot.

There is a little bit of latency when you hit Rock & Roll, before it does that barrel roll. When your ship is actually doing that barrel roll you're fine. But until that time, you're fair game to get killed.
