Lol 150% dil bonus. That is going to be one busy week for Advanced PvE queues. I think I'll get my counter command sets completed so I can run BHE easily.
Mission replays for this week? Seriously? Is that the best you could come up with at this point? So many other possibilities were tossed around in my fleet's chat for this. So what will be next week, "add to the weekly goal by creating and deleting new delta recruits once they get to level 10?"
... but sorry this is kind of weird ... another "Dil Week" 4 Days after "Dil Weekend" (which might be better than "Dil WE", so wait till next week !?) ... => no idea if I'm supposed to turn in Contraband 24/7 oder play "Spin the Wheel" till I'm puking ...
... sounds like some really weird "Sophie's Choice Scenario" ...
Patch Notes : Resolved an Issue, where people would accidently experience Fun.
Maybe I'll finally grind out 5 jem'hadar armor and 5 shields for my delta (dominion alt, or as close as you can get anyway) so I can help out ... not too worried about extra dil myself
Eww... without FE rerun and a "Assimilation" nerfed into oblivion?
Sorry to decline.
Beta, LTA, CE, Multiple preorder Versions, all Addon Packs except AoY, nearly all KDF/Rom and ~50% of all Fedships, over 25 LockboxShips, Endurer of Atari's "Year of Hell", but...
Great potential reward for the most tedious activity imaginable...
We've just had to complete the story missions on Delta alts a few weeks ago and now we're expected to do so again? Least you could do is launch a FE Re-run, so we could get our alts the limited time rewards.
To be honest, I think instead of the main episodes it should have been Foundry missions.
Yeah. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big supporter of the whole Delta Recruit thing and have been thoroughly enjoying it. And I'm certainly not going to turn down additional rewards, or refuse to play my Delta toons or throw some other similar idiotic tantrum.
But honestly? One of the -last- things this game needs is more ways to earn dilithium ore. It's possibly the -least- motivational bonus you could've offered, at least from my perspective.
By the time a new player gets to the point where they need the extra dil for upgrades et al and understand the system well enough to take full advantage of it, they have enough options for earning it that they can reach the base daily refining cap with maybe an hour or two of play, if that. And for the longtime existing players, well... they tend to be sitting on a fair surplus of ore anyway.
Ore, by itself, is worthless. If we're timegated to only refining N ore per day, and we already earn >=N ore per day, then giving us a week of N * 1.5 provides little or no benefit beyond increasing the surplus. Worse, the additional flood of refined dilithium on the market from players who -aren't- capped is likely to drive up the exchange rate in the short term, reducing the buying power of dil and at best putting us back where we started--and ironically, the more successful this stretch goal is, the further it will drive down the value of dil. This effect can be observed every time there's a bonus dil weekend.
Please understand: I am not asking for the refining cap to be raised--and I would be very unhappy if it were. Doing so would tank the exchange rate even faster, and would hurt F2P players especially badly.
I'm sure that the specific rewards were planned out well before the Delta Recruit event even launched, and this feedback isn't going to change anything this time around. But hopefully you'll keep this in mind going forward.
TL;DL: as DR motivational rewards goes, extra dil ore is a pretty poor choice that does not inspire me, personally, to put in extra effort the way that bonus skill points, CXP, EC or marks do. Even players who benefit because they aren't capped on refining will still be hurt by the effect on the value of dil.

Have to ask again ... but is Dil-Weekend any different from Dil-Week ... :
- is the 50/100/150% Bonus for everything
- is there a differene between Mining Claims like during Dil-WE ? (50 vs 100%)
- is there anything excluded during Dil-Week i.E. Contraband Turn-In's
Would appreciate some response, because I've no idea if/how i should turn in Dil-Mining-Claims & Contraband ... Am i going to "miss" something during Dil-Week if I'd choose to ignore Dil-WE ... ???!???
PS : Since most of the EC Sources are excluded from the current EC-Week ...
Patch Notes : Resolved an Issue, where people would accidently experience Fun.
Frustrating: Didn't I just do all these missions on my Delta Recruit? I mean, I'll do it for the rewards, but the fun factor isn't that high right now.
Frustrating: Bonus Dili weekend coming up. I was hoping to grind out some serious Dili across multiple toons this weekend, or start a KDF Delta Recruit. Burning through content I completed a couple weeks ago doesn't sound fun.
Nice: Potential 250% dilithium rewards for an entire week sounds awesome! I could really use more of the stuff.
So I love the opportunity, but the opportunity cost feels frustratingly high this time.
Mission replay? With bugs in the Gameplay forum about issues with the reward choices (confirmed by Crypticfrost) and this week of patch notes not even mentioning them as fixed NOR as a known issue?
We'll see what the next day or so brings to light for "still broken" and the FPS/lag issue.
Real life friends I convinced to give it a try during this Delta Recruit have already left upon seeing the last few weeks of mishandling. I might still be around, but the offer of joining them elsewhere after embarrassing myself in suggesting they scratch the scifi itch here ...
Since pretty much all I offered in that lengthy post was criticism, let me throw out a few possible alternatives:
1. N% reduction to project completion times. That means reputation projects, fleet starbase projects, R&D projects... anything similar project that has a completion time. Fleets would welcome the ability to, say, turn a 7-day project into a 6-day one, players could complete their daily/hourly rep turn-ins sooner (while still only being able to do them once/3x a day), R&D or upgrade items would complete sooner. Could perhaps even apply it to doff assignments, or split these different things out. This very nicely complements one of the major stated purposes of the DRE, which was to bridge some of the gap between new and old players. This would accelerate their ability to grind rep and R&D or build up their fleets.
2. N% reduction to activity cooldowns. I don't mean player/boff hotbar abilities, I mean things like queue/mission/patrol cooldowns. Players could, say, play PvE queues every (e.g.) 25 minutes instead of 30, or repeat a mission sooner, etc. I trust I don't have to elaborate on why this would be well-received by many?
3. N% reduction to in-game currency costs. By in-game currency I mean EC, Dil, Lobi, Fleet Credits, etc--but not Zen. So it costs less to buy commodities, items from any NPC vendor (including Fleet and rep vendors), pay for Transwarp, initiate projects with currency requirements (rep, fleet, etc). This is likely to incentivize people to dump their currency and stock up on items, as well as--again--meshing well with the goal of helping newer players bridge the gap.
Just some thoughts. They are obviously by no means fleshed out, and I've deliberately avoided most numbers in order to focus on the concept rather than the merits of any specific value.
These things would motivate me far more than yet more dil ore that I don't have the capacity to refine.

Thanks for the delta recruit event, but I think this is the one I'll pass on. I just got done playing all these episodes. So unless it's an Episode Replay event where I get the special items, you can forget it.
Can any devs, answer a question, is this just replays, or other missions as well. My dr's are in the delta missions at this point, will that help?

I have an idea for what Season 11 should be; Season 11: The Big Bug Fix.
I have not been able to read my bug tickets in over a year, not even the tickets about not being able to see my tickets.

Okay, so this is kind of a seperate Dilithium bonus week. But does that mean that things that normally aren't effected by the normal Dil bonus now effected? Like with the Delta Recruit Dil bonus, do I now get bonus Dil from Rep projects?
Planning on activating the bonus EC any time soon?

Yeah, but when players complain about the grind of having to do missions too many times, Cryptic doesn't listen... apparently.
Shame. This could have been fun, like turn in Rep projects as a DR.
Please Cryptic, it would be great to start getting these on our Delta recruits, though I could do with some time to level up more.:D
Can I just say, I've really enjoyed this event, and enjoyed S10. Thank you guys.
