Energy Refrequencer visuals

I just got the Iconian Resistance Space trait Energy Refrequencer and it's pretty handy at keeping your hull topped up especially if your a heavy hitter.

The only issue I have with it is the visual FX's, the big swirly green thing that goes off 10 times a second resulting in my ship looking like a radioactive lime green chrysalis. It could maybe do with toning down a tad, maybe have it trigger just once a second or make the swirling green mass less obvious and bright.

Anyway tis just a tiny visual thing other than that it's pretty handy :)

    I must agree here. The ability is nice but the visual is a deal-breaker for me. Far too intrusive visually.
    Would be great if we could disable the visual.

    They really need to include options with some of these traits do disable audio/visual effects.

    They do it with Gear that alters appearance, they should do it with Traits as well. I love the 'Battle Ready' trait from the Eclipse, but it's similar to this issue, it fires off this annoying pining sound every second and it's annoying as hell.

    Sometimes I wonder if they actually tried these traits before putting them in the game, I can't imagine anyone flew around with these silly effects firing off every single second and said 'yeah, I think players will really like that!.'

    We need to be able to disable some of these annoying effects.

    I kind of like the Refrequencer visuals, but I agree that we should be able to toggle most visuals.

    The effect is copied directly from the Kobali console ability. I don't really mind it in space, but the same green swirl also appears on the matching ground trait where it looks absolutely ridiculous. It's not even rotated vertical to fit around the character model.

    Its the same with kemocite and so many other weapon effects. Too many visuals ruin the visuals... A toggle would be great.
